A succinct breakdown of all the things that have gone wrong today:
- Was up super late packing up airbnb (context we were at the gathering of the juggalos whoop whoop)
- had to wake up super early so got 3 hours of sleep
- we went through all this work to clean our rental car, just to get a 60 dollar charge for not filling the tank (which was not listed in the instructions)
- our flight got delayed!
- because our flight got delayed we missed our connecting flight! And the new flight we got gave us 45 minutes to get there, and the app wasn't telling us our gate or giving us any info because it was frozen on hour old information. So we had to go through a long ass line for customer service to find out we had never been booked and we were given a code and told to get our asses to the other end of the airport to the other airline terminal to get onto our flight
- we get there to find our we had never actually been booked and we need to go back to the first customer help desk because they are the only ones who can help.
- So after some shenaniganizing (waiting in line) we get a new flight for the next day.
- And they give us a hotel! (Yay!)
- We pick a hotel through the site and get our reservations.
- wait for the shuttle to pick us up
- Huh, the shuttle is taking a weirdly long time
- Call the hotel for them to say that they "don't have a shuttle" (the site said they did) and that our reservations never went in!
- Go back to the same poor customer representative. Wait in line AGAIN. At this point we were in the airport for 4 hours.
- Reissued a reservation at the closest hotel. Where there is no hot water, the TV is broken, the beds are very small, the carpet is sticky, etc.
- I want some deep dish pizza cuz were in chicago. (My friend wanted kfc?!?!?!???!!!?!?!?)
- Delivered to the wrong address
