No actually she wasn’t smoking, her mother was a photographer and she loved to photograph kids with adult objects to see how people reacted. It’s a very strong message I think

I studied this photograph at school, it’s not a real cigarette. The title of the picture is candy cigarette. Sally Mann created a series of pictures that make people feel uncomfortable but when you read the titles it kinda changes your view.
