like it might just be me but i think calling anyone’s degree “useless” and “a waste of time” is fucking rude at best. absolutely unnecessary and it’s not just because i’m an english major that’s a fucked up thing to say about any field. there’s a reason all of them exist and the world needs professionals from the fields western society deems “useless” more than ever.

LOKI | S01E04 The Nexus Event

Eddie's death was so unnecessary and just bad writing. They have a pattern with killing off lovable side characters but honestly it's really stupid to do that just to make your audiences upset or for the sake of it. Bob and alexeis arcs maybe wouldn't have led anywhere other than domestic bliss (which doesn't exist in stranger things) but Eddie had real potential from money struggles to graduating high school and having a future on his terms to his friendship with Mike and dustin and the d&d Satanist perception people had of him (WHICH WAS NEVER FIXED ??). It's so sick they killed off a gay coded fan loved (especially by queer fans) outcast character who's backstory is something a lot of people can relate to and the fact that they did it right after pride month. I'm honestly so angry that they did this just for the sake of it.

I just went through all 5 stages of grief and 3 others for a character I've known for less than 10 episodes and I'm not sorry
