a traumatized Stiles who only trusts Derek to take care and protect him is something that can be so personal
Stiles not even allowing his own dad to approach him and he starts to panic the second Derek isn’t in his line of sight anymore 😌
Derek almost going feral at having his mate in this state so he stops speaking and he growls whenever someone who isn’t pack tries to touch Stiles. He almost attacks a male nurse for making Stiles yelp when taking some blood. It gets so bad they need Deaton to sedate Derek and the hospital staff to sedate Stiles so they can move them to somewhere more private because they can’t have a feral werewolf in a hospital and a traumatized hurt human refusing treatment if their werewolf mate isn’t there with him at all times.
the betas are restless and they keep patrolling around the building Stiles and Derek ends up at. one of them with the alpha pair at all times (usually Boyd, he’s been the one in charge since their alpha is busy taking care of his mate).
after some time, Stiles starts letting the betas scent him again and the betas seem to be a bit less restless after that. Derek almost purrs he’s so satisfied at smelling his betas on Stiles again.
