First of all, look at that, the font, the colour, the pretty lines surrounding the title of the movie, just goodddd.
Haters can hate, call this movie stupid, and dumb, but I love it. And will always love it.
Starting with bella, and kristen’s depiction of her character is so on point. I fuckinggg love it.
Robert played edward so good, I have never loved someone’s acting and appreciated so much.
Esme is the best character, and nobody will argue with me.
Charlisle is the one who tugs at my heartstrings, more than edward, I fell for him. (Always the older, mature and compassionate men)
Jasper and alice are the best side couple.
Emmett is so hawt, with his strength, teasing, playful energy makes the vampire family even more merrier.
Edward is my fav baby and baby boy. He fights himself so bad, while wanting to hold and keep bella close. I love this man, always did, especially when I was a kid, i can’t hate him, never will.
Charlie deserves the award of the best father, respects boundaries, protects fiercely, loves bella, accepts her choices even when it hurts him, so masculine.
Reneesme is a baby when Jacob imprints on her, upto this point, I was okay, like yeah, protect her and all, but then we find out she is his romantic partner, miss ma’am, the world does not need more predatory fiction. Yikes. Jacob could have a healing arc with someone else, why push him into edward and bella’s life just to keep that love triangle thing ongoing? Double yikes. I’ll never be okay with that.
Reneesme is a beautiful child, and vampire. She deserves someone who does not take away her agency. Imagine being a child, and finding out that her “potential” romantic partner was her parent’s rival who competed against her father once, and lost it, and …then he suddenly started to be drawn to her. Miss meyer, thankyou for having mercy, and not writing their story, or whatever. Please thriple yikes.
Bella as a vampire is the most strongest, powerful, happiest woman alive. She definitely was born to be a vampire. Yes. Edward makes her strong, unlike jacob. Ew.
Everything is wrong with jacob. (Taylor, you’re a good actor, because I hated your voice and your face, sorry). He may have been there for bella when edward leaves her, but nobody can deny the fact that he is manipulative, and controlling in the worse way. He is so persistent throughout the movies, and keeps pushing bella to do what he thinks is correct. Uhm, sir she is her own person, let her decide. It’s not infuriating, but it’s absolutely annoying that he thinks he knows better. Even when bella EXPLICITLY tells him she knows what she wants. Yikes. Do we even have to consider that he fucking provokes edward in the tent, and makes him more jealous, knowing that he’s probably feeling tortured at the idea of seeing his bella in his rival’s arms. Double yikes.
Edward may have been overly creepy, but i’m a dark romance lover, so his watching over her while she’s sleeping and finding it fascinating does not make me uncomfortable. It makes me happy.
Edward is controlling, but only at times when he feels bella’s safety is at risk, or when he is losing control over his restraint. Edward is protective, soft, possessive, jealous all in the right amounts. He is more human being a vampire — than jacob could ever be. That prick had the audacity to manipulate her into kissing him, yikes.
Charlisle should be my roman empire, because Esme and him together make me all giggly. Who thought it was a good idea to cut off their sweet moment about seeing Edward and bella together, while being loved - dovey? The culprit needs to apologize, like right now.
Alive and Jasper love makes me all swoony, he is so fast, and always knows when alive sees something in her visions. I love them both.
Rosalie’s envy for bella is understandable, I do not hate that woman, in fact, I understand her, because she wanted a human life, but vampire life chose her and gave her emmett for losing the things she wanted and desired for.
Jasper feels guilty for the birthday incident where he almost attacks bella, because of his violent past, which only makes him more likeable to me.
Edward is so quick in his responses, he immediately knows jasper is gonna attack her, and pushed bella backward, while pushing jasper away from him. Robert’s acting in this scene, even when the movie is paused, or slowed down, his expression does not break character at all, which makes the movie worth every second.
Edward’s skin is literally so beautiful, so so beautiful. He’s beautiful. His skin literally glows like diamonds in the sunlight, so pretty. (How could he think bella would hate him? I’d show my appreciation than and there if he let me) Okay, those thoughts — shh.
Edward’s self loathing is also acted out so good by robert. The restraint it takes to kiss bella, be so close to her, and be in utter control. He has self control of an iron fist. Robert acts the hell out of edward’s self loathing too, the scenes where bella gets almost attacked by jasper, and his expression when charlisle tells him to go check on him is chefs kiss. The body language when he leaves, mhmmm. Then the morning after, when he sees the bruises he left on her body, the pain she must have been through, his acting is too too good.
The baby delivery scene is tragic, and acted out so good. Where he injects his venom directly into her heart, stays with her for three days, bites her arms, neck, ankles to spread his venom in her body faster, does not give up, even when Jacob does, this all show how devoted and loving edward was. Jacob would have resigned too early and have left her, which makes edward the best choice for bella. The way edward begs for her to wake up, to not die on him, while also internally battling with the fact that he has to do the one thing he was so against and losing her for good, be was struggling, yet he stayed with her, noticed the tiny changes in her body during the transformation of human to a vampire. The guilt, the pain, the control, the fear, he felt it all, and stayed with her even at the most excrutiating point of his life.
Bella is introverted, shy, keeps to herself, and awkward, but her transformation as a vampire is a growth arc, she’s strong, brave, powerful, charming, and such a beautiful vampire. I adore her, she’s indeed amazing as edward said. Her not putting up with jacob’s bullshit is chefs kiss. I love it so much! Finally. She’s standing up for herself and her family.
Edward will and always be my fav traditional hero, because he does not initiate any intimacy with bella, when she was human, and before they got married, he restraints himself too much to the point it’s painful for him, but he does not jeapordize her safety, ever. He makes sure she is taken care of, and is protected, which is why he leaves her, because he understands how difficult and dangerous his world is for bella.
And then we have jacob who could not bother with asking bella what she wants, and continues to evade her boundaries, again and again. That fucking —
