Darry break up imagine *Part 1*
For the past few weeks, Darry has been really distant with you. Usually he would make sure he spent time with you even if it was just eating dinner with you and the boys. Lately, he's been avoiding you. He hasn't been answering your calls, having a conversation with you, and he barely even acknowledged your existence. The only person who noticed was Soda. He talked to you everyday to include you because he knew Darry wasn't.
You finally had enough and decided to go to the Curtis house when you knew Darry would be alone. The only way you knew he would be alone is because Soda told you.
You arrived at the Curtis house around 7:30. Since it felt wrong to just barge in, you knocked on the door. After a couple seconds of waiting, the door opened to reveal a very exhausted Darry.
"We need to talk," you said before he could say anything. He opened the door wider, inviting you in.
You sit on the couch and he slowly sits next to you. "I'm just gonna get straight to the point here. Darry, why have you been ignoring me?"
He sighed. "It's just... I don't know how to say this to you." You had a bad feeling in the pit of your stomach. "I think we should break up, Y/n."
He looked you in your eyes as a single tear feel from your eye. You could see the regret in his eyes.
"Y/n, I'm—" he started but you cut him off.
"No, Darry. I get it. I just... can't do this right now," you said, standing up. Darry stood next to you and said, "Y/n, I'm sorry."
You just walked passed him, saying, "Can we talk about this later? I'm going home, Darry." He tried to grab your hand but you pulled it away. "Goodbye," you said.
You started walking out the door but stopped and turned around. "No, I'll see you later." And with that you left.
That night, you curled up in your own bed, hugging a pillow while thinking of what you did wrong, oblivious to the fact that Darry was thinking about how much he must've hurt you.
