“They can bring a gun and…a whip? A rapier?! And someone who is machine…like….a robot IN a tournament???” Ink repeated incredulously. Already, she is starting to like this idea of this tournament. The corners of her mouth went upwards.
Not only that, what Krohnen said that she would be there. Does he mean…she can be on his team?!
“Then I’m in!” She grins, making her decision as it is too much to resist that kind of tournament. “Because I wanna fight strong people and have fun doing it!!” Now, that only leaves who would be the third person to join. Ink already had someone in mind like Rust for example. But she wonders about her friends for sake for Krohnen. She needs think in terms of what Hellmare thinks.
Of course, Hellmare won’t join, even if f the fighters bring weapons and if some are machines. She would say that joining might be overkill. Navarro won’t join, he only uses bombs to blow things up. Ophelia is a healer, not a fighter. Fosh is a hacker, not a fighter. Taz, not a fighter either. Jaron can fight but he prefers not to. In his own words, he don’t pay no mind to violence. Oblivion can fight but she rather play her video games, unless someone pisses her off. Maggie would fight but only she has to. So that only leaves.
Gerald. Rust and Shdwkyz.
Gerald can fight! He knows boxing moves but Maggie always worries about him. Shdwkyz loves to fight strong people and so does Rust.
“There are two I’m thinking about but Rust is a good fighter.” Ink says, “Rust knows how to punch and kick, he does do some kind of martial arts. He called it….uh…Bar…Bartitsu? You have to ask him on what’s that about.” She smiles as she continues, “But I know Rust loves a good and he doesn’t go down easy even with the weapons or anything that throw at me. Plus, he can wreck machines. He is really tough. He can take a lot of damage and gives it right back! I don’t know if you know this, Krohnen but he can take down a werewolf and give me a good fight!”
Krohnen grins. He’d expected Ink’s enthusiasm, but that didn’t take away from seeing it in real time. As she thinks, he starts planning out match-ups, relying on memory to think of opponents who might actually stand a chance against a DBT Team. Of course, he’d want to target Team K’ over anyone else, but to secure their shot at the championship pay-out, there was much to consider...
Fighting power along would take them far, but not the whole way.
When she purposes Rust, Krohnen nods in agreement- he was already an ideal candidate, in his opinion. Martial arts were- supposedly- the main focus of the tournament. Plus, destroying machines? It’d be a strong answer to everyone bringing guns- and it would absolutely cripple someone like Maxima.
“A werewolf, huh? Can’t say I’ve ever seen one sign up. Rust sounds pretty ideal, but... I’m curious. Who’s the other guy?”
