Kaminari burst into Kirishimaâs dorm, not even bothering to knock.
He knew it was always unlocked.
The redhead looked up at him from where he was typing away on his laptop, one eyebrow raised in confusion. They were well into their second year at UA, and Kaminari would consider him and the teen best friends. He knew at the end of the day Kirishima would pick Bakugou over him, but that was because of the guyâs big gay crush on him.
âKirishima!â Kaminari ran over and plopped himself down on the bed next to his friend, jumping over weights and barbells to get there.
âYes?â The teen asked, slowly closing the lid to his laptop.
âYou know what American schools have that we donât?â
Kirishima gnawed on his lip. âShootings?â
âNo!â Kaminari grabbed Kirishimaâs backpack off the floor and pulled off his rainbow pin, shoving it into his face. âIt has to do with this!â
The blond sighed and tossed the pin back and forth between his hands. âYouâre gay, Iâm bi,â
Kirishima nodded. âYeah, America has gay people, and so does Japan bro,â
âYes, but in America theyâre accepted, here you canât even be a pro hero as long as youâre openly gay!â Kaminari dropped the pin into Kirishimaâs hand. The redheadâs eyebrows were furrowed in thought.
âI never really see gay people, other than in anime...â
âYes! Because itâs considered so âgrossâ and âtabooâ everyone is too scared to come out!â
His friend blanked at him. âAnd what are we gonna do about that?â
âGlad you asked!â Kaminari whipped out his phone, pulling up an article about a club found in most American schools. âA GSA club!â
âGSA?â Kirishima took the phone from him, frowning. âBro we gotta get more people, convince the teachers...â
âItâs worth a shot!â The blond jumped up and down where he was sitting. Kirishima just continued to read the article, one hand scratching the back of his neck.
âI donât know man...â
The unlocked dorm door swung open once more, Bakugou waltzing into the room and looking over Kirishima and Kaminari. âPikachu, the fuck you doing here?â
âI canât hang out with my best friend!â Kaminari quickly snatched the phone back from Kirishima, turning it off and throwing it into his backpocket. Bakugou eyed him suspiciously but didnât say anything, just scowled. Kaminari knew Bakugou was their friend, and he knew Kirishima was head over heels for him, but Bakugou could be awful sometimes. He knew Kirishima hadnât come out yet, and he didnât trust the angry blond not to react negatively. Especially when he was the object of Kirishimaâs affections.
âYou fuckers watching porn or something?â
âNo! No, ah!â Kirishima scrambled to put his laptop away and stood up, crossing his arms and puffing his cheeks to calm the blush visibly climbing his face. âWe were just uh, talking about something,â Kirishima cleared his throat, looking away. He could be so obvious sometimes. It was a blessing Bakugou was dense enough not to notice.
âBlasty what do you think of gay people?â
Red eyes glared at him, look deadly. âThe fuck you asking me that for Pikachu?â
Kirishima nervously wrung his fingers together, laughing awkwardly. âKami is just messing around-â
âIf I started a GSA club would you join?â
Bakugou blinked at him, scary expression turning to straight confusion. âThe hell would you start one of those for?â
âWell, Iâm queer, one of my close friends are gay...â
âYou fuck boys Dunceface?â
Kaminariâs face turned red. âWell-uh, thatâs not exactly,â
âThatâs not the point! Would you join?â
Bakugou contemplated that, eyes flickering over to Kirishima. âWeâre you gonna join his gay fucking club?â
Kirishima cleared his throat, âUh-Yeah...I was actually...â
Bakugou stared at him a few seconds, unreadable. Finally he let out a large sigh, rubbing his temples. âIâll join your stupid fucking club Pikachu,â
