I'm blogging so that my family and friends can keep up with me and so I can post things you guys can be praying for! Right now, I am feeling very thankful for this opportunity. I have wanted to travel to India for some time now, and the Lord so graciously blessed me with the best woman to accompany me! I'll be traveling with Brette Dollins, my friend from nursing school. Brette has been to this exact place in India three times before. For years, I have heard her talk about this place and these amazing people whom she lovingly refers to as "grandmother" and "grandfather". I have seen her face light up when she speaks of this place and these people. I have asked her so many questions and made her tell me so many stories. Now, I will go for myself to see and experience a place so dear to her heart. We will be meeting up with another group in Chicago and flying to India all together! We will be staying for two weeks. There we will spend our time at the children's home, mobile medical clinics, gospel meetings, etc. I feel I have the same mindset I had before I left for Tanzania last summer. No grand expectations just an attitude of "come and see" and "do small things with great love" -mamma T. “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her.
