• August 2 • Happy Friendship Day!
fourth and final medical camp ✔️ but for this one we didn't have to travel to a remote village! We did it right here in Ongole!
This week was the ribbon cutting of a new child day care called grace place. All the kids here are great, but this little guy is my favorite! I love his wild crazy hair, when he sticks his tongue out for pictures (except this one) and that he spends more time carrying his chair above his head than sitting in it. He always makes me smile and reminds me not to take life so seriously all the time. #graceplace
this roof has seen some beautiful sunsets 😍
Indian food all day errday
Indian Ocean yall! ☀️ (at bay of bengal)
Today we got to visit the local government hospital! My favorite part was getting to see the NICU! Saw some very tiny babies and met some very friendly nurses! They all wanted to take a picture with me! I encouraged them and told each one that she was doing a great job! I hope they could understand me a little bit. Then we had a meeting with the chief of the hospital. He is a believer! We were treated to cookies and soda. The Indian culture is so hospitable!
Morning walk
Vencadorou and Locshmee Chintapalli (please forgive the spelling, I’m sure it’s wrong)
Two of the most loving and hospitable people I’ve ever met.
I am a better person for getting to live with this family,
First few days!
Playing with the children at the home and free mobile medical clinics!
Cows everywhere in the streets!
Highlight of the morning: Communicating by using the Word. Telugu and English. Different languages and cultures; One God.
Is this real life? We're going to INDIA!!!! @brettewhitney
India!
No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’ because THEY WILL ALL KNOW ME from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the Lord. “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.” (Jeremiah 31:34 NIV) So I am getting on a plane tomorrow and flying to India! I'm blogging so that my family and friends can keep up with me and so I can post things you guys can be praying for! Right now, I am feeling very thankful for this opportunity. I have wanted to travel to India for some time now, and the Lord so graciously blessed me with the best woman to accompany me! I'll be traveling with Brette Dollins, my friend from nursing school. Brette has been to this exact place in India three times before. For years, I have heard her talk about this place and these amazing people whom she lovingly refers to as "grandmother" and "grandfather". I have seen her face light up when she speaks of this place and these people. I have asked her so many questions and made her tell me so many stories. Now, I will go for myself to see and experience a place so dear to her heart. We will be meeting up with another group in Chicago and flying to India all together! We will be staying for two weeks. There we will spend our time at the children's home, mobile medical clinics, gospel meetings, etc. I feel I have the same mindset I had before I left for Tanzania last summer. No grand expectations just an attitude of "come and see" and "do small things with great love" -mamma T. “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her. (Luke 1:38 NIV)
Hosea 2:19-20
19 And I will betroth you to me forever. and I will betroth you to me in righteousness and in justice, in steadfast love and in mercy. 20 I will betroth you to me in faithfulness. And you shall know the Lord.

Servants, do what you’re told by your earthly masters. And don’t just do the minimum that will get you by. Do your best. Work from the heart for your real Master, for God, confident that you’ll get paid in full when you come into your inheritance. Keep in mind always that the ultimate Master you’re serving is Christ. The sullen servant who does shoddy work will be held responsible. Being a follower of Jesus doesn’t cover up bad work. (Colossians 3:22-25 MSG)
If he did it before, he can do it again!
