Used my PPG Cookbook to make Meatloaf and Boba! Here are my thoughts on it. The meat loaf is very delicious, juicy and tender. I added extra mayo and cheese for mine for extra taste The boba is good and sweet tho I can def taste the cinnamon which I think maybe throws me off but it still good none the less. ^^
Love the new Morbucks ref sheet! Just out of curiosity, how are Butterfly’s bangs on her left side is half kinda like Blossom’s, and the other half of her og hair bangs?
Actually yea! I imagine over the years when Butterfly is trying to discover her own identity she went through many different hair styles to test out, ultimately she went with what she's most familiar from the beginning with along with a mix of her biggest inspiration, aka Blossom.
Which fun fact, despite her hair being sorta similar to her old hair or AKA Buttercup's side burns, her hair is supposed to be more longer than Buttercup, more obvious when her hair is wet or put down.
Last time I drew this I realized I didn't fix Butterfly's skin color to make it match Princess's skin tone so I went ahead and edited that, I also tweaked Princess Morbucks too so I'm more happy with what she looks like now, anyways hope you guys like it!

The State of Powerpuff Girls in 2026 - Written by a Human
Here's the fact of the matter, the fandom is the only thing keeping Powerpuff Girls "alive" at this point and that's just fine.
The last time we saw the Powerpuff Girls in any official capacity was the Jellystone Crossover, Crisis on Infinite Mirths. There's supposedly a powerpuff girl project Craig has wanted to do for years, but we know little about and who even knows if CN is still letting him do that. Dynamite Comics is doing... something? Does anyone even read those comics? The only time I ever hear about them is when they've done something stupid with the girls or when the comic art is off model.
Despite all of that, companies across the pond still pump out merch of the girls. Is it the 1998 cartoon? Is it the 2016 cartoon? Who knows! Who cares? The girls sell, that's all companies really care about.
The truth is, as a series with no stable series at the moment, the heart of the girls lies with the fandom. As is the case with cancelled, dead, or series trapped in limbo
Does this fandom have creeps? Yes it does, every fandom does. This isn't new. People have always made sketchy as fuck fanart with the girls. We simply don't engage with that or let people like that into our circles. It's that easy.
For everyone else, fanart, fanfiction, comics, and videos help keep the spirit of the girls alive.
In the 2020s, a popular theme explored with the Powerpuff Girls is looking into their future, either as teenagers or young women. Likely brought upon by the horror show that was CW's attempt at a gritty show about the girls.
Yet this could also be attributed to the original demographic, children of the 90s and early 2000s, being all grown up. It's not unusual for a fan to imagine where the Powerpuff Girls might be, how they would react in their shoes. What happened to the villains and their friends? Would the girls start families? Would they take the time to explore themselves individually? A Powerpuff Girls future is one that's full of potential for creatives to explore.
There's also the fans who take aspects from the Powerpuff Girls that were weaker and explores alternative takes with them. Most commonly we see this in taking Bliss from the 2016 and re-adapting her to be a better fit with the trio. Others will take villains, episodes, and concepts and re-write them, give their own take on the 2016 show and make it their own.
If there's anything to be said about Powerpuff Girl fans, they can always manage to find a silver lining even in the murkiest of downpours.
For others like myself, you're never too old to create OCs and wonder how they would navigate the world. Maybe someone wants to have their own Powerpuff or Rowdyruff type team. Maybe someone wants to yumeship with their favorite villain or the Professor. Maybe someone wants to add a character to expand on a pre-existing one's lore.
And what's wrong with that? Absolutely nothing! Original Characters give fans the freedom to explore things they otherwise wouldn't with the base cast and there's nothing wrong with that. If anything, it shows how much they love a series that they want to make a character for it, or perhaps see themselves inside of it. It's the mark of quality, regardless of the quality of the OC.
All that being said, it's true that Powerpuff Girls as a series has gone rather dormant. Though perhaps it's not a bad thing. Popular things breed intolerable fandoms, and while the Powerpuff Girls fandom is no angel it certainly could be a LOT worse. As it stands, it's the fans who are keeping Powerpuff Girls alive through the 2020s through their own creative means.
Whether it's older fans feeling a little nostalgic, or younger fans discovering the series for the first time. Nobody can deny that a series so unique as it is charming has a little something for everyone, and that makes a series worth honoring with continued fan-made content.
Personally, I believe there is also an influx of Powerpuff AUs of any sort as well! That aspect is also what kept the fandom alive! Even if it seems kinda cheesy lol.
1. Since we kinda know how Blossick became a thing, how did Butterfly fall for Blossom?
2. How do Brick and Butterfly feel in this relationship since they fell for Blossom?
3. Is there any particular reason Brick cut his hair (and maybe a cap change idk)?
4. Why does Blossom wear a rubber band for her hair and not her heart hairclip, and did Blossom choose the headband.
5. How did Robin and Boomer fall in love?
6. Since the rolls are swapped, can Blossom understand animals? If so, will she get Bullet?
7. I remembered you saying Blossom might leave Bubbles and Buttercup. If she does, will she change her outfit to not match them.
8. Will this story be mainly words with pictures like the prologue, or some comic form.

Although I got most details down, some are not completely fleshed out, somethings may be tweaked for the foreseeable future.
1.) All 3 do not become a thing until around their late teens/early adults so they are friends within their current timeline. I imagine though Brick doesn't realize he has a crush (towards Blossom) until way later. I imagine he developed feelings for Butterfly right after she sorta confessed.
Butterfly I imagine fell for Blossom (like Brick) after getting to know her a bit more for some time. Like maybe a few months after her initial return to Townsville? But I like to think her crush started out as somewhat a celebrity crush, she had like distinct admiration for her because she wants to be a hero like her. As well as the other girls, but none can "take action and be calm in a stressful situation" like her. Getting to know her made her empathize her current situation and wants to do her best to help.
2.) Funny enough Butterfly is fully unaware of Brick's crush at all, so Brick has a bit of a small jealousy towards her when they were just a silly little friend group whenever she hangs around or flirt with her too much just for the lols. Although it will always throw him off whenever she does the same thing to him too.
When older, Brick is actually the one to confess first way bit before Butterfly, so she was unaware they were a thing before she confessed to Blossom. She was kinda sad when initially rejected, but learned to move on, since she sorta has a second crush option, (being Brick) when confessing to him, that's when she sorta realized those 2 were together.
It honestly made things awkward a bit at first, but after both Blossom and Brick discussing after they kinda find out about their confession, they sorta talked their feelings out, and decided it wouldn't hurt to add Butterfly into the mix just as long its just them 3, being very close as friends. That's when they let Butterfly know and allowed her in that relationship.
3.) The cap didn't really have a change I imagine, its just the same cap. Its just more detailed. As for the hair, Brick didn't intend to cut his hair at first, due to an incident though he was forced to laser eye and burn part of his hair to get out of a dangerous situation. So most of his younger and preteen years he kept his hair short out of safety. (Some what a trauma response) Its only when older teen/adult did he wanted to grow his hair back.
4.) A part of me wants to explain here, but I realized I wanted to draw out the scenario on why, since I technically have a sketch sitting in my files. I just sorta remembered as I'm typing this, I technically drew it in a different ask post, but its pretty subtle. So that is gonna have to wait a bit. Headband part, I kinda wanna explain in an art or fanfic as well.
5.) Remember I made a before and after for Robin's ref sheet? Boomer met her in the "After" part when she tied her hair up. Boomer met her through the association with Blossom when introducing Robin with the RRB.
6.) I had explained before and even drew out in the timeline progression that they were all normal canon before getting their roles swap. Surely swapping their roles doesn't equal to power change?? So no, Blossom cannot understand Bullet. (She can try to guess tho)
7.) Well that's not set in stone. I have an idea now for what I want with them, but Blossom doesn't actively leave them. (mostly BC since Bubbles is still in her life) But honestly? Ya they'll all get different outfits. They'll still have their iconic stripe somehow, but that could be changed.
8.) I imagine mixed media, I thought about comic form initially but thought maybe its too much to draw it out or too serious to be in a comic form possibly. Also because I would like Reset AU (another AU of mine) to be drawn as a comic series.
My puffsona is canonically a fusion that was once 2 different beings, a replacement puff of a recolored looking Bubbles that ascended to godhood by becoming a vessel to a different god that lost its will to create, and used their creation as a way to puppet their dreams by making a deal with them after the recolored puff lost everything in their universe. And became a new person after the fusion. They are in charge of the various of alternate universes of the PPG within their sector, as a way to continue their deal while also keep creating. But the recolored puff is mostly the one fronting. (dominant personality)
Breeze: daughter of Brick and Blossom but her parents are separated, 6 years old. She has a loud personality consisting of being adventurous, tomboyish, outgoing and intelligent. She lives with Blossom, and when she meets Brick she loves to poke fun at him by yelling and yapping. Her design is based on young Ellie from the 2009 movie called Up.
Boo: daughter of Boomer and Bubbles, four years old. She might look sweet and innocent on the outside, but she’s a total menace who loves to prank people (especially Bud) and cause chaos sometimes. She has lots of animals at home of which Bubbles had let her adopt. She’s also spoiled and loves to whine when she gets called out. (Victim mentality lmao)
Bud: son of Butch and Buttercup, 5 and a half years old. Like Buttercup, he’s short-tempered. Although he’s introverted, (fairly quiet to other people and prefers some time alone) and won’t snap at people unless they bother him. He follows the Professor and Mojo Jojo’s footsteps, he’s a grumpy boy-genius who loves mech-animals and taking inspiration from that show to build funky machineries especially huge super mecha kaijus of his own to fight monsters in a more extreme way that literally destroys everything around em lol.
Buzz: daughter of Butch and Buttercup, 3 years old (the youngest of them all). She inherited her father’s hyper-activeness, and her mother’s tomboyish nature. She’s not really a talker, and when she talks she has this distinctive Japanese accent. She loves eating bugs, chocolate, digging, playing tag, flying around, and breaking things. She’s Bud’s little side-kick and sometimes serves as his stubborn lab assistant like Jojo (baby Mojo Jojo) to the Professor. She’s also Boo’s favourite cousin.
Love your Pride Month art, I “heart” it very much. So, if all of these define Blossom in this AU, how does each one represent her?
Thank you! I'm glad u like the art! SD Blossom has the exact same as mine (since she has representations of me) so honestly it defines who I am actually.
But lorewise, I can give a brief rundown.
Starting this off, this would be the demigirl flag, someone who identifies as girl and nonbinary or a combination. I imagine, like me her gender fluctuates between those 2, or just feels very fem but don't go by as a girl when combined. Their pronouns are "She/They" because of it.
Next one is super self explanatory, this is the pansexual flag. By definition it means you like someone regardless of their gender. SD Bloss would date anyone not only identifying as a boy and girl, but nonbinary, trans, agender and etc. (When older of course)
(SD Brick himself is actually He/They) So they are nonbinary boy with masc leaning pronouns.)
This one where it gets a bit finnicky, this flag is called the Omnisexual flag, it means you are Pansexual but with a gender preference specifically. You might be wondering why I included the pan flag in that case. There are 2 main reasons, most people do not recognize this flag, and the pan flag would have to be used to back it up.
The second reason being is that there is a mixed view on how Pansexual is, some people believe that pan means you are "genderblind" meaning u don't really care much about gender. Other people believe you can have a gender preference being pan, this flag is mostly here is used for specifics.
SD Blossom (and me) do have a preference for girls. I imagine in lore, most of her fictional crushes would be girls than boys ratio. But it doesn't mean she cannot fall in love with boys, she has more chance in falling in love with girls.
This flag is where it would explain better on why she is shipped with Brick and Butterfly in lore. The Demirose flag (it can be known as DemiAroAce or Demian Flag) it means you don't feel attraction (including romantic attraction) with anyone until you know them for a very long time.
In lore by the time SD Bloss got to know Brick and Butterfly well, (for like years) I imagine that's when she's start to develop feelings or is more open to the idea of dating when older.
And then there is the polyamory flag, there are different designs but I personally like this one the best. Basically it's for people that is ok (consenting people) with being in a partner like relationship with more than one person. There is different types but I'm not going into too much detail in that. SD Bloss, SD Brick and SD Butterfly basically all date each other when WAY older. Like an existing couple that added a 3rd person. So they would specfically be in a triad polycule.
How tf did I spend more effort on the BG than that art itself- But for real though, I wasn't exactly planning to do any Pride Art due to how many projects that I committed to- But I decided to say "fuck it" and did a simple one anyways before pride month ends pretty much.
Anyways, the reason I drew SD Blossom with these flags is because me and her have the same exact and amount of flags, so gender identity and sexualities/romance of any kind, I would have as well.

Had fun doing this art trade with @sitrusjigglypuff! Love the simpicity on the designs with his version of mirrored RRB. (RRB in Powerpunk's world) Ngl, it took a lot of willpower getting it done especially burnout and health problems arise even more.
It honestly took a bit on how to figure out the lighting setting but hopefully I pulled it off well. Anyways, hope you guys like it!
