Vuick’u had been conscious for a while when he finally let his eyes flutter open. Gently tugging Morpheus’ sleeping form closer to his chest, Vu rested his chin on his lover’s head and contently exhaled as he looked towards the only window in his bedroom; discerned from the sunlight peeking through the dark curtains that it was sometime in the afternoon.

The months since the attack, since the Haven’s relocation, were proving to be one of the roughest stretches of his life. There were days he didn’t have the energy to get out of bed, didn’t have the drive to eat or bathe or read. He and Niiru weren’t close, but the wildclaw had done his best to aid him in between his other duties.

When Morpheus had shown up ‘out of the blue’, it was obvious that, despite Vu’s attempts to feign normalcy, Morpheus’ presence — his caring nature and encouraging words — were both helpful and soothing; a beacon of light in his darkness that helped lessen the negative thoughts and gave him a reason to continue forward.

Pulled from his mental summary by an abrupt, unsettling feeling that swirled in the pit of his stomach, Vu frowned. Retracting the arm that draped around Morpheus’ waist, he cautiously rolled onto his back. At the sight of a thick, black cloud that lazily swirled no more than two feet above him, he froze.

Now that it had Vu’s full attention, the cloud’s movements quickened, and before he could fully comprehend it, he realized that it had shaped itself to look just like him. With eyes still closed and expression neutral — almost too peaceful — the look-alike raised a black hand to its face. It briefly pressed a finger to its lips, then lowered the same finger to Vu’s chest and gently tapped the tip over his heart, once.

Instantaneously, the touch radiated a coldness through him that chilled him to his core as surely as if he had fallen off a floe in Ice, and his muscles gave a hard shiver in surprise. Dread filled him as he struggled to regain his breath, and when he blinked —

It was gone.

Now you can select up to 3 Groups for a dragon to be in! So if you put a dragon into the Groups “Faves”, “Level 25″ and “Needs Lore”, it will show up in all 3!

It’s for my upcoming spreadsheet, called Lair Tab Simulator 2000! ^^

It’s meant to simulate having lair tabs, in the best and easiest to use way possible. Basically, it has an Info sheet where you insert all your dragon’s information, such as ID, Name, Gender, Element, and what groups you want them to be in, stuff like that:

Then you have the actual Lair Tab Sheets, where you select a group (of any you’ve entered on the info sheet, sorted alphabetically). It then shows you all dragons part of that group:

Creating a new Lair Tab is as easy as duplicating an existing one. You can also sort the dragons within that group by up to 2 categories (i.e. Element then Gender, Level then Name, etc.)

I did some testing on the sheet today to make sure everything works alright, and implemented the multi-group selection (before that, you could only choose one group per dragon).

Which means the spreadsheet itself is pretty much finished (unless something else comes up). I’m still in the process of typing up some posts for it, and once that’s done I’ll share it on the forums ^^
