Middle aged author who loves the worlds of the Fae.

I write fantasy romance that takes place in the Seelie and Unseelie Courts. My current series is Star Crossed Fae. All the books stand alone and can be read in any order. Each one deals with a different Court and different characters. And they're all available on Kindle Unlimited.

Book 1: A Seelie Prince's Oath Seelie Crown Prince of the Summer Court and Unseelie Dark Court Princess.

Book 2: A Night Court's Destiny Unseelie Prince of the Shadow Court and Unseelie Princess of the Night Court, but all Courts appear in this one.

Book 3: A Butterfly's Enchanted Evening Is a twist on Cinderella. Lorien is a Fae with butterfly wings. And one night of rebellion against his stepfamily means he sneaks to the ball under glamour and meets Elara, the 2nd princess of the Spring Court.

Book 4: A Fae Assassin's Binding Is about a Dusk Court assassin and a minor Light Court noble. What happens when Celeste walks in just as Kai has killed his target? A spell gone wrong that means they can't move more than a foot apart.

Book 5: Is still being written. I'm playing with what happens when the FMC chooses the bad guy.

You know how in cartoons when someone opens their wallet and moths fly out?

I opened my purse last night to grab my wallet and a moth flew out! 😂 No idea how it got in there, but I’m glad I was going through a drive thru and not in a restaurant…

It's not that I mind being told we aren't doing presents for Christmas this year. But would it have killed my family to tell me sooner than today?? Not everyone buys presents at the last minute! I've had my Christmas shopping done since October! I think I can return most of it, I'll check the receipts tonight. But whatever is past the return policy? They're going to have to suck it up and take them. lol

It's that time of year again. If you buy stuff from Amazon, don't forget to thank your driver through the app. The drivers get an extra $5 every time you do it. And they especially deserve it with all the extra deliveries they have to do this month.

Must have had a newly arrived grackle at my work today. I've gotten into the habit of saying "hi" to the birds when I head into the building. And they don't attack me, but they DO attack my coworkers. lol So I'm going to keep saying hi!

But when I did it today... You know how when you startle a cat, they hunker down to the ground and kinda cringe sometimes? That was exactly what the grackle did. It was facing me, saw me heading his way, I said "Hi!" and it reacted exactly like a startled cat. Then it scurried away, still all low to the ground and hid. I wish I could have caught that on video.

Don't you just love when you come down sick, and the doctor isn't sure what you have? I woke up on Tuesday morning with a sore throat and body aches. Figured strep because I get that often. Went to the doctors, I'm negative for strep, negative for covid, negative for tonsillitis.

It could be a cold. Could be the flu. Could be a throat infection. They have no clue. So gave me steroids and cough medicine and sent me home. I'm supposed to work this weekend. Let's see if I'm well enough.

Got to work and my printer is gone. Big empty spot on my desk and everything. I'm like, WTF? Asked the guys, and was told someone from another department needed to print something and they were out of ink. So instead of hooking their laptop up to my printer and printing, or asking if we had a spare toner cartridge, they just stole the entire printer. 🤦‍♀️

I'm not sure I could have made this up if I tried. 7am and I get to go hunt down which department took my printer and take it back. At least it's friday... 😂😂
