from this close, you can see everything, the natural blush across his nose, the curve of his lashes behind the lenses and the way his pupils shift when he focuses on you.
the glasses make him look grounded, more real and somehow that makes him ten times hotter than he already is.
“you like them that much?” he murmurs, leaning down slightly so he’s at your eye level and you realise you have been staring for a while.
you nod in agreement and he studies your face carefully. for once there’s no teasing in his expression, just curiosity. he reaches up, gently taking your chin between his fingers.
“you’re blushing.”
“that’s your fault.”
his lips curve into a smile at that and then he does something unfair. satoru takes his glasses off and sets them down on the table without breaking eye contact with you.
“better?” he asks, playfully.
“babe, put them back on.” you say immediately.
he lets out a laugh, surprised at your demand but obeys and slides them back into place.
“this is new,” he mutters. “didn’t know i had this effect on you.”
“you absolut— ”
your boyfriend cuts you off, capturing your mouth with his, and somehow the glasses make it better, more intense.
the frames lightly brush your cheek when he tilts his head and his nose grazes yours sending a shiver down your spine. his hand softly cups your jaw, thumb stroking your cheek while his lips move slow and hot against mine.
when he pulls back, you’re breathless.
“you liked that?” he whispers, maintaining eye contact with you.
“i loved that,” you admit, to which he grins, smug.
“guess i’ll have to wear them more often.”
satoru brushes his nose against yours and peppers your lips with short, sweet kisses.
“careful, babe” he smirks. “if you keep looking at me like that, i’m not getting any work done.”
you don’t even pretend to disagree and take his mouth onto yours, kissing him until you both become numb.
