Places a vase of flowers and chocolates on her desk. A gift of sorts, for being helpful and for being one of her squad mates.
Makes a mental note to leave something for Koizumi as well, for this was a lovely surprise.

He may or may not have fallen asleep on that paperwork he now was holding.
Flings a pebble, aiming for his head. Casually walks away.
"O-Oh dear! That sounds awful! W-would you like some assistance with that? I finished up my reports last night, and I d-don’t have anything to do at the moment."
"No, it's alright. I can handle this. But when I'm done, I'm going to find the idiot who thought that delivering half-assed reports was a good idea." And then make him pay. "Tea?"
Don’t e v e r let them see you [flinch]
"A-Ah…W-Well good morning, either way! D-Did you sleep well?!"
"Not really. I've been up all night, trying to fix a pile of poorly written reports. I still have at least ten of them left on my desk."
Jolts up, blinking and rubbing the sleep from her eyes. “Y-Yes! I am alive!”
"Calm down, calm down. It's just me. Taichou's not even in yet."
Still half asleep.
Nudges, gently. "Hey, are you alive?"
Keiko got comfortable sitting on the floor just as the cat did, reaching over to stroke and fluff over his exposed tummy and all over. “I think I might have leftover chicken I can give you, actually, now I think about it… But let’s show you some love first!” Of course Keiko would spoil this random cat; she’d never had a pet of her own before. She gave it a few more minutes of fussing before getting up and slowly moving back into her office. “Come, kitty, I’ll get you some chicken!” And with that she hurried into her office to grab a little box of leftover chicken, hurrying back to the cat as soon as possible.
Dai didn't mimic her excitement and had looked rather dull, sprawled across the floor. The only indication that he was, in fact, awake was his silent purring, caused by all the cuddles she had given him.
But when she moved, he did too. With great difficulty, of course, rising only his head to watch her leave and peek into the other room. Claws were once again buried into the wood, though this time with more pressure, before he lazily scratched the surface. If Hina saw what he was doing, she'd yell. But this wasn't Hina, so Dai didn't care.
He could smell the food; smell something delicious the moment she appeared and had only then decided to rise to all fours, meowing on his way up.
To hell with them. Nothing hurts if you don’t let it.
Ernest Hemingway
”This isn’t good. Do we know which squad this came from? I sure hope it wasn’t us.”
"It doesn't say. But judging by the content, I'd say Eleventh." Pauses, before pointing at the drawing once more, "What is this thing even supposed to be? A bird? A goat? I don't understand that division, I swear."
“Oh dear. Mind if I take a look?”
"See? Someone even doodled across this one. I'm returning this stack right away. And whoever was stupid enough to hand this in will pay."
"...Half of these reports aren't even signed correctly."
Its wobbly movements made it all the more cute to Keiko. Once he was within reach, she gently stroked his head and behind his ears, smiling all the while as she acted like a ten year old. "You don’t look like a stray… and you don’t look like you’ve wandered very far, or rather, can’t wander too far." She was very tempted to pick it up and cuddle it but she didn’t want her face ripped to shreds.
Another semblance of a meow left him before he stretched out his paw, claws digging into the wooden floors. It didn't seem as a very friendly thing to do, but it was how Dai expressed his gratitude. And it didn't take long before he plopped down and onto his back, clearly demanding more cuddles.
He quite liked how this lady treated him, with respect and gentleness. Just like his Hina. Now, if only she gave him food too...
