A Family Brunch to Remember
This weekend, our family gathered at Auntieâs house for a special brunch filled with love and gratitude. Grandad had just come home after spending five days in the hospital recovering from open-heart surgery. Seeing him back, resting and healing well, filled our hearts with joy and relief.
We kept the menu simple and healthy in his honor: spinach and tomato egg white frittata, turkey sausage, whole grain waffles topped with fresh berries, and a refreshing cucumber-mint water. Everyone pitched in, turning the kitchen into a space full of laughter, delicious smells, and warm memories.
Though Grandad stayed upstairs to rest, his presence was deeply felt in every dish, every hug, every smile. This brunch wasnât just a mealâit was a celebration of family, healing, and the quiet strength that holds us all together.
