been thinking a lot about transmasc Andrew lately. About how he would constantly war with the idea of getting top surgery, wanting it so bad but refusing to be unconscious under someone's knife. About him binding to dangerous levels and ignoring his pain constantly. About Aaron doing as much research as he possibly could into top surgery to be able to give him the best information, the best surgeon, the best care. Andrew fighting tooth and nail against himself all the way to the hospital doors. Neil refusing to leave his side, glaring at every single person with a clear make me.

t4t andreil also makes sense cause neil was probably able to get his hands on testosterone (illegally, why would he do it legally) way before andrew. meaning maybe his growth plates hadn't fused and the testosterone made him a bit taller. whereas andrew could not get it till later in his life, so his growth plates were already fused by then.

had neil not taken the T then, he would be andrew's height. andrew was only able to get T when he turned an adult, free from the clutches of the foster care system and guardian permission.

it would make sense for andrew to be trans... hear me out:

not too long after he transitioned, when he was still with cass, he couldn't say what drake was doing because "what if it's really brotherly affection and i just didn't get it?" he thought maybe he just had to be a "real man" and endure it

tilda chose to let him go in the foster system because she didn't want to raise a "girl"

we ALL know he has a big chest, and i think it's because he worked out his chest a lot before top surgery, and now he's proud of it because he can finally look at his chest, no matter how big, and know that he worked for it, that he chose to have it this time

on the same topic: did all of tilda's life insurance money go in the car? nuh uh, top surgery baby (and maybe bottom too? idk)

and if he didn't do bottom surgery, part of the reason why he didn't want neil to do anything to him in return (aside from the hand off rule)

him being short. ik it's dumb but most of the afab trans people i know (including me) are tiny

he befriended renee over both of them being trans. that's also why he trusted her to out him to neil

(not abt andrew but renee is trans too, that's why she changed her name when she got adopted by stephanie walker. also why she was in a gang: she needed money for hrt and eventually surgery)

andrew and aaron look exactly the same even tho they could've chosen to look different, why is that? aaron is andrew's reference for what to look like, kinda like his model for masculinity

he didn't want aaron to know he was gay because he already felt like a burden for being trans, they don't need more problems yk
