Love your fanfics on AO3! definitely doing god’s work 🤍 It’s crazy considering that KLS is so popular but there’s almost nothing out there :,(
aww thank you!!! and yeah it's wild to me because their tiktok fanbase is HUGEEE like these edits regularly get 100k-300k likes which is massive, incl. shipping edits (mainly kevron)
that's why I'm trying to build up the Tumblr fanbase because I think you get more fics outta Tumblr folks
though keep in mind as well, their success is quite "new" like really only the past year. im very hopeful for the future of that AO3 through!!
valandil may have died, but he went out in the cuntiest way possible. 'may the valar forgive me', before absolutely wrecking kemen's ass was so hot of him, what a moment like... that's a Man.
He hisses in response, jaw clenching. You pause in front of him, standing between his legs as he sits on the wooden bench. You’re holding a once clean linen soaked with alcohol in front of the new cut that adorns the bridge of his nose. The white cloth is now tainted with dark red that soaks into the material of the fabric. You regard him with an even stare, his dark eyes staring back at you.
“Are you going to tell me or is Elendil going to tell me later?” You say, cupping his face gingerly in one hand moving to dab the cut on his nose. His brows furrow and he exhales a sigh, his lips parting and you can tell the expression is painful to the slit on the side of his lip, a mark of dark dried blood that mars his lower lip.
“Sparring… for the Sea Guard,” He replies, the way he bites his tongue and raises his eyebrow tells you he’s not being truthful. So does the look in his eyes, something like shame… at himself, maybe. You don’t reply for a moment, thumb running lightly over the stubble that pricks his cheeks and defined jawline. He hasn’t shaved in a while, something that torments you when you kiss and yet he does look good.
“Valandil…” You prod with a hum. He looks at you, lips forming a thin line as you lightly blot at the cut on his nose. “I know the Sea Guard don’t train hand to hand combat today.”
He exhales a scoff and looks at you, his brows still furrowed. He runs his tongue against his teeth, thinking of how to phrase it.
“Kemen,” He starts and almost sneers at the name. “Was… insulting Isildur and I and Ontamo… so I hit him.” He looks away slowly, head tilting downward like it’s somehow disgraceful what he’s done.
The news stops you for a moment, cloth paused over his face. You lower your hand and look at him. Usually Valandil is so in control of his emotions, not one to stoop low enough to physical violence but you do know he and Isildur have fought before but… Kemen?
“Oh.” You manage.
He looks up at you, pretty dark eyes looking over your face. You busy your hands with his cleaning up his nose and he scrunches it in response to the sting.
“Well… did you get caught?” You say. He exhales a slight huff, one of his hands resting on his thigh moving to your hip and waist feeling up the cloth and the slope of your body.
“Unfortunately… discharged, temporarily,” He replies and you nod, as expected, the Sail Master was a harsh man who didn’t take nonsense. However he did seem to have a certain liking to Valandil which may have to do with his swordsmanship and knack for following orders that other boys seem to lack. You drop the cloth on the side of the table, cupping his face fully with two hands tilting his face up. His own hands squeezing the flesh of your hips lightly.
“You’re very chivalrous.”
He sets his lips in a thin line like he’s attempting not to smile before he relents and his lips curve upward. In response, you return the expression, enjoying how he looks, his head tilted up to account for the height difference, for once you’re taller.
“Next time don’t get caught.” You say, carding a hand through his thick dark curls.
