I’m back. For the first time in like 3 years. My weight is out of control. I’m going to make a whole new account so I can have my new journey separate from my old. Once I figure out what my new name will be I’ll post it here. We’re restarting our journey Monday because my husband and I share a birthday which is Saturday! What are the cool hashtags anymore? Is fitblr still a thing?
@healthyontheinside tagged me for a SDS yesterday and I finally got around to it! 29 weeks!
It's one of those things
For whatever reason my body has gained so much weight during this pregnancy. I know a lot of it is eating badly, but seriously, 30 pounds in 6 months is a lot. My weight this morning was exactly where I started in march of last year. Which is really disappointing. Probably 5 pounds of it is water retention and being a little backed up, thanks pregnancy.
This week I am getting a hold on it. I really want to control my eating, which has been way out of hand, and start adding more exercise back in now that the weather is nicer.
A huge part of my weight gain is stress/anxiety related I believe. A first pregnancy is hard. A first pregnancy with a baby that you already know will be medically fragile, I can’t even begin to explain where I am emotionally at this point. I need to talk to my doctor about it and I will at my next appointment in about a week and a half. It only got bad about 2 weeks ago.
Now I still won’t be updating here much, but maybe more often than I have been.
Here’s to meal prepping and trying to quit emotionally eating!
@dragonfli17 I do have a lot going on. It's not weight loss that's the issue, it's the way I've been eating and not exercising. I'm not expecting to lose weight during pregnancy, but if I could at least slow the weight gain down it would be nice.

22 weeks today, and went to the gym. Need to make it a regular thing. I've really been struggling exercise and eating wise this pregnancy. The threat of Gestational Diabetes is on the table, not that it could have been prevented (if I do have it) but definitely feeling the guilt. Doing better this week and last about eating at home. Hopefully I can continue that through the rest of pregnancy.
Starting Keto tomorrow!
It’s supposed to be the best for PCOS, and damnit I was to have a baby so bad.
So here goes. If anyone wants to share some recipes, please do.
The first 3 days are basically going to consist of meat, eggs, and leafy greens.
After that I’ll be less restrictive.
I also have a friend who has digestive issues, she is wanting to do it too. Thankfully I’ll have a real life keto buddy.
Keto helped me conceive! I have some recipes on my blog. Favorite places to find recipes were ruled.me, caveman keto, and the Atkins website (you have to be more careful here but they have lots of options!). Keto donut muffins are amazing!
Baby Landon and I made it to the gym today. First time in a while. The stress of the amnio, the 2 weeks after I wasn't allowed, the results. All of it. Now 3 weeks post amnio today and I made it back. We're going to try and keep this up. Back to my weight that I was at the beginning of the year which isn't ideal. 15 lbs up form the beginning of pregnancy. We've had time to accept his CF diagnosis and now we're on vacation next week. After that we're having our 20 week scan and we will reign in our eating after that and really start going to the gym more often. But just wanted to say hiiii. Being a terrible fitblr, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do.
Now that all of social media know! We are having a boy!
I am so thankful for the fitblr community that helped me get healthier so I could become pregnant. Wishing I was making healthier choices during pregnancy, but I'm doing my best. Thought I would share this here as well.
So excited that our little man is just hanging out and growing!
Fitbit Alta HR
Anyone out there using the Fitbit Alta HR who’s available for some questions? I really would like to purchase one, but it would be nice if someone could help me out with a few things 😊
Can anyone help?
Boost.
I have one and am always open for questions!
Staying healthy while pregnant
I’m needing advice. My morning/all day sickness plus food aversions have made it hard to eat anything healthy. My husband has been all too happy to eat whatever, whenever I want. So I need some advice for staying at least sort of healthy during pregnancy. I have had zero motivation, but pregnancy along with all of the stressors of it didn’t really surprise me.
I really appreciate everyone's advice. I think I'm still in the weight loss state of mind. I was strict keto when I got pregnant, which the thought of keto foods makes me want to throw up. Ha. I have been trying to exchange sweeteners and such as you do in keto, but it's hard to take anything else with it. Anyway, I really appreciate it. My doctor has not said anything negative toward my weight gain. I am hoping to finally get back in the gym today, we'll see how tired I am after work though!

Alright guys. The cats out of the bag. This is why I've been so quiet. Our weight loss journey was to get to a healthier place to get pregnant. Now we have. Now we have announced to the world. Hopefully I'll be updating some here and there. But if you'd like to follow our journey to becoming parents follow over at @maybe-babyc
Saw something odd
I saw a women with a Fitbit Charge HR on her ankle. I always wondered if that would work. I almost ask her how well it worked, but she was a helicopter mom who was in her book following her daughter around the park.
I'll be back soon
Probably by the end of the month. But anyway, our annual Cystic Fibrosis walk is in 11 days. Please donate if you feel compelled. The money goes straight to the Great Strides charity. The link is in my bio!
It's this weekend if you'd like to donate!!!

Before I forget, guess who made it to the gym for the first time in almost a month. I'm still alive. Just not here much.
