Kansas City Costume Company was established in the 1920's to serve the needs of our growing city. Over the past 90 years, we have established ourselves as a leading supplier of quality rental wardrobe for musical theatre. Today, we serve the United States coast-to-coast from a 70,000 square foot facility located in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
Along with our theatrical rentals, we also maintain a 17,000 square foot retail store to provide area theaters, filmmakers, and fun seekers with all the items they need to make their project a success.

We want to feature your cosplay or costume here at KC Costumes!
What we need is a picture of the costume or cosplay, your name or username if you prefer, your character’s name, and what items you used to complete your look (ie: Ben Nye Bruise/Abrasion Wheel, Mehron Barrier Spray, handmade costume, handmade jewelry, and Blush Kharma wig).
If you submit your photo to us with all the information and we sell at least some of the products you used, we will post it on our blog one week after we receive it. If you come to the store in that week before we post it with a copy of the photo you submitted, you’ll receive 20% off your next in store retail purchase!
And just to be clear, please don’t submit photos for friends or try to redeem the discount for anyone but yourself.
If you have any questions regarding the contest or our costumes, our askbox is always open!
