"cole cheated on erin" season 1 literally starts off with every single person saying cole doesn't do dating and they basically describe that he only has a sex with benefits arrangement. he flirts with random girls at the school openly as well, and even erin's own friend sleeps with him and the only reason the friend wants to keep it a secret is because she is the only one who knows erin likes cole. cole only hides his sleeping around from his parents, not erin. he is unaware that she sees them as a couple, he even makes it obvious they're not together during the truth or date game episode.
"cole uses girls" they're not victims, they're using him for sex too.
"cole only went after jackie to piss off alex" its the opposite. in the beginning of season 1 cole has no idea alex likes jackie, and even alex says cole made the first move. alex didn't 'fall' for jackie at first sight since he gives the same look to his next girlfriend in season 2. alex is also the same person who made jackie uncomfortable because he did pda and excessive pda just to make cole and paige (his ex gf who he claims he doesn't care about anymore) jealous.
"cole went after alex's first girlfriend" cole has no idea they're dating and he's been in the hospital getting therapy and treatment for his leg after his near death experience, he doesn't know what's going on with alex and they state that they're not close. when cole goes to his first party since leaving rehab, he is kissed by paige - she is the one who cheated on alex because she always wanted cole.
"cole always starts fights with alex" alex mocks cole's accident and his reaction after losing his purpose in life, is constantly being passive aggressive and rude to cole out of jealousy that girls like cole, blames every trivial little issue he has on cole when cole has enough to deal with already, and thinks cole should be begging for his forgiveness just because paige cheated on him. maybe if alex had told him about her that wouldn't have happened.
