That cheeky grin and boundless excitement. Yes, this was Misfire. This was the WAP. This was home now, and he wouldn’t give it up for anything. Even withall it’s quirks and disasters and even-he-didn’t-know-what-percent chance of something going wrong.
Giving the jet’s helm a half-sparked shove, Fulcrum let himself be pulled closer, burring his helm against the other’s plating. But, of course, the moment didn’t last very long. Ah well, he did want to show Misfire what he’d made for him.
"Well," A laugh escaped the little techie as he began to wiggle and squirm and poke at Misfire’s chassis. “If you let me get to my subspace, I can show you!"
Misfire grumbled when Fulcrum told him to move. He was comfortable and content and willing to spend the rest of the night snuggled close to Fulcrum’s frame while they laid on the floor.
Reluctantly, Misfire finally maneuvered himself to flop onto the floor at Fulcrum’s side. He sat up, crossing his legs and squirmed in his place.
"There, I moved," he said, his excitement regrowing and leaking into his words. “Now, what it is?"
"... You didn't have to move that much..." Honestly, he'd just needed enough room to be able to reach the subspace pocket in his arm, not room enough that the jet was no longer on top of, or even touching him.
He... felt kinda lonely now. He missed being flopped on like that. Missed the feeling of being touched.
Venting a small sigh, Fulcrum pushed himself up off the floor. He looked at Misfire, then at the floor, the cold, hard, dirty metallic floor next to him. Then, without stopping to spend time to think about his actions, he pulled himself into the larger mech's lap.
Fraggit, he just wanted to cuddle, ok? He'd spent too long alone and he missed being cuddled on. If he spent any time thinking about his actions, the cowardice would rise up again and he'd opt out because he got scared. Besides, everyone kept telling him to grow a backstrut, right? Well now he was.
Anyway, moving on.
"It's not much," The words were regretful, though there was still a crooked grin on Fulcrum's faceplates as he slipped said gift out of his subspace and held it up for Misfire to see.
And it really wasn't much. Little bits of shiny, colorful 'trash' attached to bits of wire that had been spliced and woven together into a loop just big enough to fit around Misfire's wrist. They were scavengers and anything of worth or use had to be used to stay alive. But, even then, it wasn't an ugly little thing. For something made of materials usually not even worth scavenging, it might have even been able to be considered tasteful. Maybe. Depending on who you asked.
"What do ya think?"
THERE'S A HOLE IN THE SIDE OF THE WAP
THERE'S A HOLE IN THE SIDE OF THE WAP
THERE'S A HOLE
THERE'S A HOLE
THERE'S A HOLE IN THE SIDE OF THE WAP
Hey Fulcrum. There's a hole in the wall.
A hole?
Why come to me? Holes in the wall are Crankcase’s domain, unless there’s messed up wiring behind them or something.
Yes you. I love you. What with your adorable nervousness, and blushing, and stuttering.
B-b-but...
Me???
Wh-why?!
I get so self-conscious when I reply to anything, because sometimes I feel like I play my muse boring, and that my writing style isn’t very interesting to read. I feel like the people I rp with only do it to be polite, or they had certain expectations for me and I let them down.
Seduce me without using any words
Please, and you WOULDN’T be fidgiting if you saw MY spi- actually, let’s not even GO there. Just-
Can we stop talking about this now?
I wouldn’t fidget if I saw your… spike? No, probably not~.
Do you not want to talk about it…? It is Sunday, after all. Or I could start going on about the monsters on the ship. That would be one hell of a conversation.
*Cue dramatic facepalm*
I don't see what Sunday has to do with anything. And monsters on the ship? If there were monsters on the ship, I am pretty sure i would know about it, considering how much time i spend in the walls and ceiling, Misfire. The only thing that could possibly be classified as a monster on this ship is Grimlock, and he doesn't count cause he's harmless.
A summary of what is happening: -Fulcrum saw the ‘picture’ of my spike -Fulcrum became overly nervous -Human gave Fulcrum a lemon -Fulcrum is confused and was told to ask me about said lemon -I’m currently awaiting for my snuggles from Fulcrum who seems to be standing outside of my door and fidgeting because lemons and spike
Please, and you WOULDN'T be fidgiting if you saw MY spi- actually, let's not even GO there. Just-

*Smiles knowingly* Or someone to listen to.
*Unshutters the other optic and lifts one optical ridge to imply the question, though his tone mirrored Misfire’s* You beat the moon.
Misfire pressed his faceplates against Fulcrum’s. "I. Beat. The. Moon. Because it attacked and was trying to eat everyone and it looked like a giant fish," he said, dead serious.
He paused a moment. “And that was what I did. What did you do while you were gone?" he asked, putting on an extremely goofy grin.
Oh. It must have been one of his games that he was always playing. It certainly explained why the scenario was so out there. “Wha- actually, never mind. You’re just going to confuse me more," The K-con laughed, nudging Misfire’s face. For all that times like this confused and baffled him, he really had missed the silly jet. More than he’d ever thought he’d miss anyone again after-
The change of topic shook Fulcrum from that train of thought, which, had he not turned immediately to focus on the questions, he would have been immensely grateful for.
Good old Misfire, always saying or doing the right things even though he didn’t know he was, or that it was needed.
"Pretty much the same things any of us do when we’re gone. Looking for things to patch this place up with. I found an old computer console and was able to snag a lot of wires and parts from it, so that was good." He paused for a moment, then added, “Oh, and I made you something too."
Misfire watched in fascination as Fulcrum tried to make sense of what he’d just said, and a wide grin spread across his face when the K-Classer finally laughed.
The change in Fulcrum’s mood wasn’t unnoticed, and Misfire snuggled the smaller mech closer to his frame. He nodded, listening to Fulcrum’s recount of his being away.
But he couldn’t help but to be excited when he heard that Fulcrum had made him something. “You did? What’cha make me?" he asked excitedly.
That cheeky grin and boundless excitement. Yes, this was Misfire. This was the WAP. This was home now, and he wouldn't give it up for anything. Even with all it's quirks and disasters and even-he-didn't-know-what-percent chance of something going wrong.

Come and question my muse about anything and everything
Predaking remained waiting for an incredibly long time… by his standards, and he wasn’t exactly known for being the most patient of mecha. Even if there wasn’t much to do around base, he wasn’t keen on spending his time hunched to pounce, unable to move. If he was going to be hunting, he preferred the feel of energon dripping from his jaws, armor shredding into scrap metal.
After a short while, the predacon took a step forwards and snaked his helm behind the rock, mandibles twitching as he got a better sense of this stranger’s scent at such close a range. Not long on earth, he could tell that much. He wasn’t yet tainted with the smell of the local sod and fauna. Beyond that, he could smell the fear coming off the mecha in waves.
Good, he should be afraid if he was not an ally.
Predaking’s helm settled and he took a nanoklik to observe the stranged through slitted yellow optics. Poor little beast. So frightened…. Though, in this particular instance, he couldn’t rightly blame them. It had not been his appearance that startled them, but the flaming piece of molten metal. Since not even he had realized what damage that could do, he would forgive them their terror.
The predacon nipped at the stranger’s pede, trying to grasp him gently in his jaws and pull him out into the open. Might as well finish this greeting quickly and be done with it.
The sudden nip to his pede was all the motivation Fulcrum needed.
With a startled squeak that sounded not altogether unlike a terrified petrolrabbit, the k-class coward scrabbled to press himself into his little nook and as far away from the nosing snout of the technimal mech.
Grimlock was one thing. Grimlock was brain-dead, and about as harmless, at least to mechs he knew, as a dynamoduckling. Grimlock wouldn't have hurt him.
This was not Grimlock, though. It was spiky, and longer and bigger. And, instead of Grimlock's... well, let's face it, if he was to be brutally honest, unintelligent gaze, this one's optics were bright and lively and cunning and dangerous. Not a good combination for the little techie.
And then, to make matters worse, the beast was biting at him. But of course the bad luck didn't end there. It never ended there.
No, the beast had to catch him too.
... Maybe if he played dead. That seemed to work often enough for getting Grimlock to drop him. Yeah, it seemed like a viable option. Not that he could really move much anyway. Big, sharp teeth and all, you know? Best option to stay alive. Big fan of survival versus giant, smart lizard-thingy. Limp it was.
