Liv smiled as Katherine approached her. “Yeah, sure. I could go for some food. The grill?”
“The Grill sounds perfect,” Katherine agreed with a smile, giving a small nod of her head.

Liv smiled as Katherine approached her. “Yeah, sure. I could go for some food. The grill?”
“The Grill sounds perfect,” Katherine agreed with a smile, giving a small nod of her head.
“It’s been a while since I last saw you,” Katherine pointed out as she approached her sister-in-law. “What do you say we go grab some food and catch up?

Nathan smiled at his mother’s words. “You are just lucky that you have me to take after you and dad…and that I get to carry of the Petrova fear factor…despite technically being a Parker.” Nathan teased. He covered the book with his hands as he noticed his mother’s glances. “Oh…not really…well…a lot… but nothing you would want me to talk about… I’m too innocent for you to know that..” He stated with a flutter of his eyebrows.
Katherine rolled her eyes playfully, a smile appearing upon her lips. “Too innocent for me to know that?” A small laugh escaped the brunette’s lips as she looked over at her son. “Now that you say that, I think I’m good with not knowing.”
eirik-mikaelson:
“Thanks..” Eirik mumbled softly as he took the woman’s hand to aid in rising to his feet. Dusting himself off, he looked around before settling his gaze back on her. A quick look at the way she styled her hair and carried herself and he knew who he was talking to. “Katherine, I’m sorry.” He apologized, shaking his head. “Yeah.” He nodded, “Yeah, I’m fine. Just completely distracted.” He said. “I didn’t hurt you, did I?”
“Had you actually hurt me, do you honestly believe I would have offered to help you up?” Katherine questioned, head cocking to the side as she stared at him. Her gaze remained fixated on the younger male, giving him a once over before her brow then furrowed. “Are you absolutely sure that you’re okay?” She asked, unsure of whether or not he was being truthful. “What’s got you so distracted anyway?”
eirik-mikaelson:
It was just another evening for Eirik—darting here and there around town to deliver his products and make sales for that week. It wasn’t until a few sales had been made that the witch needed to stop and take a moment. Thrice now he had checked over his shoulder for someone following him around, even going so far as to darting into alleyways to avoid people who had just been going about their day and happened to be behind him. He had been heading down one street when he saw the deputy cars of the MFPD turning the corner several blocks ahead.
Uttering a curse, he bolted down another alley and pulled out his phone to send what felt like the sixth or seventh message that night to reiterate to them to take care with his products and how many to take at one time. He had been so engrossed in his phone that as he continued hurrying along the way, he slammed into someone when he emerged from the alleyway. “Ow, damn.” He spat as he fell onto his ass and scrambled to keep his phone from falling to the ground, hastily tucking it away. “Hey…” He said as casually as possible as he rose to his feet.
As soon as another body came into contact with her own, Katherine stumbled backward -- brows furrowing as her gaze shifted upward, ready to give the other person a piece of her mind. However, she stopped -- head cocking to the side as she noticed the look on the Mikaelson boy’s face. “Eirik,” she began, allowing her gaze to shift over the male’s features. “Are you alright?” Katherine questioned, holding out a hand, offering to help the other up rather than grumble at him for nearly knocking her over.

Nathan sat on the couch and flicked through one of his mother’s old traveller’s books. It was certainly something he found interesting and it was moments like this that affirmed the fact that Nathan was like Katherine. Hearing his mother’s voice, Nathan’s eyes flicked up and watched the woman. “Yeah…well I would answer with a lie and say of course you should assume that… but you and I both know that is not true.” Nathan said with a smirk. “I’m your little troublemaker, you know that!” Nathan assured the Petrova.
“You sure are,” Katherine agreed with a nod of her head, laughing at her son’s words. “You certainly wouldn’t be yourself if you were consistently getting yourself into some form of trouble.” Katherine took a seat beside her son, allowing her gaze to fixate on the book held within his hands. “Aside from getting into trouble, have you done anything else relatively exciting?”
livvparker:
“Okay, fine. At least one Parker wants to spend some time with me.”
“Oh, come on -- surely at least one of your siblings or even their spouses want to spend some time with you. There’s no way it can just be me.”
It had been far too long since Katherine had seen anyone in her family -- admittedly beginning to wonder what it was that they were up to. Walking into her home, she was rather surprised to find one of her children, a smile easing its way onto her features. “Nathan,” she began, making her way toward him. “It’s been quite a while since I last saw you. Is it safe to assume that you’ve been keeping out of trouble?”

livvparker:
“I don’t believe there is any law that states you have to go out on your birthday. It’s freezing outside and I would really rather just stay in bed all day.”
“Oh, come on -- we’ve gotta go out for your birthday, Liv.”
drwmaxfield:
Wes cracked a smirk at Katherine’s inquiry and just shrugged some. “Where would be the surprise in telling you that, Katherine?” He asked. “Maybe it’s just supplies for my labs. Maybe it’s something for Christmas.” He shrugged once more.
“You actually buy Christmas presents?” Katherine quirked a brow in the male’s direction, a small laugh erupting past her lips. “Here I thought you’d find some scientific reason as to why you shouldn’t buy Christmas presents.” A smirk appeared on the brunette’s lips as she spoke, her arms crossing against her chest. “Why can’t you tell me what it is? Even if you did buy presents, I guarantee you didn’t get one for me, so what’s the harm in telling me?”
drwmaxfield:
“No, you listen to me. That shipment is important; but I need you to stay out of Mystic Falls. If you cross the border, you’re stuck here like the rest of us and I need someone on the outside to get me things I can’t get here.” Wesley stated firmly and coldly over the line. “Just bring the shipment to the town border and I’ll meet you there. We can swap the package over the line and you can leave town until you’re needed again.” He explained before looking up as someone approached. “Call me when you’re close.” He stated before ending the call. “Afternoon.” He greeted with a nod.
“Sounds like you’re expecting a rather important package,” Katherine pointed out, quirking a brow in the male’s direction. “Anything interesting in this package?” Of course she had to ask, not able to bare the thought of not knowing.
“You okay?” Katherine questioned abruptly, peering over at the younger male. “You look a little – out of it, if I’m honest,” offering a shrug of her shoulders as her dark hues remained locked upon the Salvatore boy.
kaia-maxfield:
Kaia always loved ice skating; maybe it was because it was something she was actually decent at, or maybe it was because winter was her favorite season. So far, she had been at the rink for a little over an hour as she skated around, doing a handful of leaps and turns. At this particular moment, she had just finished a series of spins before she accidentally tripped and landed on her butt. Kaia gave a small gasp as she fell, but quickly laughed it off. If she was being honest, she was surprised she hadn’t fallen yet. “You didn’t see anything,” she laughed. “Could you give me a hand up?” She asked the nearest person, not quite finding her footing.
“Sure, we can pretend I didn’t see anything,” Katherine stated with a nod, her lips curving upward into the slightest hint of a smile. “Are you okay though?” She questioned, holding out her hand to help the other to her feet.
hmalachai-parker:
Kai looked over to his wife, a slight grin on his lips, “Yes well if you help it would make things go quicker so you and I could spend some quality time together.”
“Tell you what --,” she began, making her way toward her husband. “I’ll help, so long as you promise to go ice skating with me.”
hmalachai-parker:
Kai was feeling very bored recently, since he didn’t see his kids or wife very much, and he knew half the town wasn’t his biggest fan either. He was outside putting up some of the decorations finally as December had arrived and if he didn’t, he knew someone would be yelling in his ear about it. He saw someone in the corner of his eye standing there and just spoke out “Are you just going to stand there or help?”
“Well, I was planning on just standing here, but if you’re really wanting help, I suppose I could lend a helping hand,” the brunette mumbled, a smile immediately overtaking her features.
drwmaxfield:
“Oh, lucky me.” He said with a sarcastically overemphasized tone of joy before it quickly faded back into his semi-formal mannerisms. He shook his head some before turning back to his slides and microscope. “You aren’t needing me to investigate anymore grey hairs or lost teeth, are you?” He mused as he stuck his sight back to the eyepiece and readied another slide.
“Yes, lucky you,” she replied with a grin. “I don’t just give anyone and everyone my full and undivided attention, you know.” Katherine’s gaze remained upon Wesley, casually rolling her eyes as he spoke again. “Very funny, but no -- I’m not in need of the investigation of anymore gray hairs or lost teeth.”
lenncnparker:
“It scares me a lot,” he replied, letting out a small sigh. “The things I was blamed for as a kid, I covered for Nate. Even as a little kid I could see him losing himself. Mom, there’s gonna be a point where we’re going to have to do something, he wants to become a heretic and if he does god knows what’s going to happen”
“Hey, it’s gonna be okay,” Katherine attempted to assure her son, although she knew how Nathan was, so she could understand where Lennon was coming from. “Don’t worry yourself over this, okay? If there comes a time where something has to be done, I’ll deal with it.”
