Hey @ofmc-twc , after months (with breaks for RBB drawings) of carving away millimetre by millimetre it's finally finished and printed! I'll try to do as many prints as I reasonably can today and bring them with me to Glasgow. I'm also considering ordering stickers of this. :)) I'm so excited!

absolutely flabbergasting to see people who have so enthusiastically succumbed to despair. like okay denethor, but some of us are gonna actually face the armies of mordor in battle nonetheless.

The thing about Denethor is that he not only succumbed to despair, he wanted to ensure that Faramir succumbed with him. Similarly, a lot of people now are not only succumbing to despair, they're actively proselytizing despair, trying to convince others to join them in their hopelessness. Despair is apparently lonely and they want company in their self-immolation.

btw denethor succumbed to despair bc he was doomscrolling on the palantir. Sauron tweaked his algorithm so he only saw bad news, and he fell into the trap of thinking the world couldn't be saved.

Calypso's Floating Market

This is your advance notice that if you would like to be a trader at our art/craft fair, we will be opening the form for Calypso's Floating Market in around 10 days.

Anyone who is attending the event can apply for a slot at the market.

For transparency, as this will be a smaller event with less rooms than last year, the marketplace will not be running constantly through the duration of the whole event, but will have designated timeslots instead. Once we know how many merchants to expect, we will be able to give you more details.

For digital attendees, we'll be delighted to host your art as well. However, because of increasing customs duties and frequent delays clearing customs into the UK, we will need all physical items to be shipped by early October at the latest.

If you have any queries, don't hesitate to ask :)
