Hello! So happy to be part of this role-play, and apologies for dipping in and out since joining, my power keeps going out. It’s seriously so annoying. But anyway, I’m Bae, and I kept this to very short bullet-points, instead of my usual rambling, so semi-proud of myself lmao Just let me know if you want to plot, by either liking this post, or hitting me up in IM’s. I’m 100% down for brainstorming! 

❀ *ﾟ akanishi jin. male. he/him. ⇝ hey, isn’t that kayn kimura? i think that the ( thirty-five ) year old from tokyo, japan works as a tattoo parlour owner (black spade tattoo), but outside of that they spend a lot of time at the palomino club. i hear they are cynical + pedantic, but they are also known to be protean + sage. consider giving them a visit at their home in buffalo mountain road apartments and get to know why they’re called the lone wolf.

Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. Parents were high ranking Yakuza members, constantly encouraging their only child to follow in their footsteps. 

Kayn, a constant disappointment, refused, instead spending his energy on his more artistic tendencies. He’d draw, paint and sing. Until eventually, he taught himself guitar. 

There wasn’t exactly much else to do from his basement bedroom where he spent much of his time. It was considered a punishment until he stopped his tomfoolery and accepted the role expected of him. 

When he was sixteen years old, an altercation with his father ended in the man’s death and Kayn was arrested. He was convicted of murder and thrown in jail to be completely forgotten about. 

Until at the age of twenty, a journalist took an interest in his story and began campaigning for his release. She believed his story of self-defence, and worked tirelessly until his eventual release when Kayn was twenty-two years old. 

Knowing he’d never have a decent life in Tokyo with the Yakuza constantly breathing down his back, Kayn left for America, taking with him what little cash he could muster and absolutely nothing else. 

Initially, he settled in LA. Where eventually, he found like minded friend’s to set up a band with. The Disenchanted was born, and within the span of four years, they went from a grunge garage band, to filling entire stadiums with fans. 

Throughout it all, his love of art never faded, and Kayn became an apprentice tattoo artist, training under one of the best artists in the State. 

His love of art and disdain for fame, saw his musical career last three short years at their peak, before Kayn packed it in and moved to Nevada, where he used the cash earned as lead vocalist and guitar of The Disenchanted, to set up his own tattoo parlour; Black Spade Tattoo. 

Now, he leads a fairly quiet life, creating freehand tattoos for his many and varied clientele, and serenading the parlour occasionally when the mood strikes.
