Detection of smoke The test apparatus consists of a plywood chamber with a hole in the ceiling that enables a light metre cell to be held while being tested and an inner side sprayed with heat-resistant paint. The hole at the bottom of the chamber matches the hole in the ceiling. A clear glass bulb is inserted in the bottom hole. An exhaust fan has been installed over a hole on the chamber's left side. When smoke is being ejected into the chamber, air can circulate thanks to a hole on the right side. The front of the chamber has a hinged door with a clear glass window.

The chamber's holes on the right and left each have shutters. The LUX of the bulb is controlled by an electronics regulator that is mounted on the instrument panel. The front glass pane and the ceiling hole were both concealed by the black curtain. The chamber was installed on the section stand. The tool includes a LUX metre to gauge the brightness of the light. A stainless steel plate and an aluminium silicate plate are also included with the gadget. A stainless steel specimen frame is tilted at a 20° angle to the vertical and has features to retain the specimen and slide the specimen frame. A burner is affixed to the bottom of the chamber at a 45-degree angle.

On the section frame are installed a flow metre, pressure gauge, and pressure regulator for the purpose of controlling the gas supply. All the parts have been coated or polished for enduring corrosion resistance. We won't be including any gas with the instrument.
