It is a snippet of a much larger piece in which I create an aural coral reef: the model is made from a waveform of voices discussing contemporary Caribbean feminisms. In creating this, I intend to pay homage to the voices of those who did not make it to the Caribbean on slave ships but opted to drown themselves instead, as well as those who speak truth to power about the Caribbean intra-political model of feminism that currently exists.
