Keegan smiled as he parked, it felt surreal to be nervous in front of Troian but after that drive he’d found himself less so and felt better about it all. Everything with Troian was easy, it was natural and he always felt comfortable around her. He parked the car, his eyes widening when he heard her scream. “A bee?!” He asked her, looking inside the car. He pushed w window button, unlocking all the windows so they would open. He waited a bit and the bee flew out a back window. “You okay?” He asked her.

While Keegan was pretty much calm, cool, and collected, Troian was frantically trying to unbuckle her seatbelt which had chosen the most unfortunate time to just lock up and lay across her chest. “I have to get out!” She gasped, squirming and squeaked, inching down as the bee fly near her ear..and then out the window. Troian hated bees. She was all for saving them, but..she didn’t like them near her. She had a bit of a bee phobia. Now that the car was insect-less and the moment had vanished, Troian felt suddenly overwhelmed with humiliation. Could she have been more loud and obnoxious? “I’m good,” she mumbled. “Just wanna die and disappear into a hole..”

Keegan grinned "Don't do that, you'd be harder to work with if you lived in a hole" he teased, walking around to her side of the door and opening it for her. "Besides that's a very real life or death situation there!" He said, as the walked across the street to a restaurant and they sat down, ordering some wine to start with.

Keenan grinned when Troian opened the door, “I hope so” he said, leading the way down to his car. Everything felt new about this, they’d been good friends for a while but hadn’t ever done this before. He was terrified that if this didn’t work out, it would ruin their friendship. He opened the car door for her, shutting it when she was in and going to the drivers side, getting in and pulling out of the driveway. “So, I made reservations at this really good vegetarian place just off sunset boulevard” he told her. “They have the most amazing food there” he said, pulling the car up to park.

Driving to the restaurant, Troian could feel herself beginning to relax. First date jitters were completely normal and her and Keegan eased into just talking like they always did as he drove. She fiddled with his radio, she placed her legs on his dash, he talked excitedly about some new photos he had taken. It was just like before..except now, she got to occasionally lean over and brush back his hair or stare at him just a little bit longer and admire that he bit his lip when looking back at her. “Yeah?” She asked, smiling as he parked. “That’s cool, I’m ex-AH!” She screamed suddenly, jumping back in her seat and struggling to get out. “Bee! Bee in the car!”

Keegan was terrified, he had been on many dates before but never on one that he’d wanted to work out as much as this one. He’d dressed nicely in a button down and nice pants and wanted to make sure he looked presentable and good for Troian. He shut the door, locking it before getting into his car and driving to Troian’s house. He walked up to her door, trying to hide his shaky hands which were holding a bouquet of roses that he’d picked up for her. He knocked on the door, waiting for her to answer before presenting the flowers to her “Hey, I- uh, I got you these” he said, a bit nervously.

When Keegan told her he was on his way to come see her, Troian immediately rushed to get ready. She knew she didn’t need to go all out to impress Keegan but she still wanted to look nice. Sliding on a sweet summer dress in a shade of teal, a denim jacket over it and some matching teal flats, she waited on her couch with a book in her hand and her eyes flitting to her phone every five seconds to see if Keegan had texted her. This was the first actual ‘date’ that the two of them had been on and there was a mixture of excited nerves and horrified fear that she’d do something something stupid to mess it all up. Pressing her lips together, Troian heard the knock on the door and jumped up, nearly tripping over her own two feet, and opened it to see Keegan. “Hey,” she greeted him with a big smile nonetheless. He handed her roses and the smile just grew wider. “They’re beautiful, thank you.” Noticing his hands were shaking, Troian took the flowers from him and then clasped her fingers over his. “Hey. Tonight’s going to be fun, I promise. Ready to go?”
