Books vs games
So as more and more games are becoming movies and are becoming part of general culture not just known to the gamer of the world, I believe it is time to ask the following question.
Do games provide a way for users to immerse themselves in a world that books cannot?
obviously books are more open to interpretation and therefore open up more worlds to the reader however at the same time the ability to talk to someone about an experience is quire important so having a generic reality in which to work off from such as a gaming back group allows people to dive in past the initial world building aspect and into the character driven part of the naritive
so just to clarify what are peoples opinion of books over games in relation to a world building narrative?
