What was your queer awakening? Or were you one of the special ones who always had something/someone queer and didn't think it was illegal? Yk that moment where you go "oh wait, that's an option!?"
like a mix of both (for the not cis part). Some of the earliest dreams I had were of me being a guy even if it isn't plot relevant. And when I was younger I was a tomboy. I was always with the guys in the hiking stuff and I refused to wear dresses(mostly cause I hated how they felt). Then my friends were a large part of it too. I out right said I wished I was a boy and stuff like that. I thought that was normal. Then I started doing some research about gender stuff. I made a binder at home. Then the next day I asked my friend about nonbinary and he got excited thinking that was me coming out and that is kinda how I came out and also knew. I kinda thought everyone just wanted to be a dude.
Also this wasn't cause of my environment. I wasn't aloud to watch mlp because it was too gay(apparently). Also I always told myself if I was a boy I wouldn't be aloud to decorate my room the way it is(kinda butterfly flower theme) and my dad would treat me differently.
