Obsurials

**Spoilers!! Obviously....**

When I first went to watch Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them, and Newt described obscurials, the first thing, or shall I say person, to pop in my mind was Ariana Dumbledore. It just....clicked! Even up to this moment I don't consider it so be a fan theory that Ariana Dumbledore was an obscurial. In fact, sitting there in the theater, I'd thought that the description Newt gave was Rowling straight up answering the question of what was going on with Dumbledores sister, and didn't think more about it, until a bunch of fellow fans started asking about it, and I started to see articles pop up debating it as if it weren't cannon! To me it makes perfect sense and I have no doubt that 1. Ariana was an obscurial. 2. It was a direct consequence of those muggle boys teasing her for her magic. 3. During that time, not much was known about obscurus' so therefore her parents did not send her to St. Mungos, for fear of how she would be treated. Which also explains why she went to hogwarts. and 4. Ariana died because her obsurus burst out when she tried using her magic to help, and as a result, she was accidentally killed by either her brothers, or Grindlewald.

Boom! End of story! Thats exactly what happened. Now I'm sure im not the first to figure this out, but really, why is this still a debate? Do you have any theories surrounding Ariana? Do you agree or disagree? I for one am 100% convinced.
