From the tip Jar to your pocket

For as long as I have been there has always been the "darkness". The ongoing terror that follows me wherever I am. Lingering, ensuring that hope dwindles in a dark madness. Be it a slim but cozy crevice, or a cold iron box it is always the same type of black that veils over us all. My brothers, the green sheets who's faces are not their own have all sunken into despair and mumble to themselves. My cousins, small, silver, and bronze with similar faces as my "brothers" that do not belong to them either, are younger and ill prepared for the void they are subjected to, always ask me for help or advice. "How do you stay so calm in the nothingness"? they ask "where does your composer come from"? I can not help but smile for these are my favorite questions, and this is my best answer. "There is no such thing as darkness, only the absence of light." "while my eyes are filled with nothing, my experience has taught me that the brilliance of the "other side" is always waiting.
