can I ask ur every thought on time traveler c!karl because i always think back to it now that that server has been dead for years and how much I fucking loved that storyline 😭

oh god where do i begin. first i wanna say thank you karl for proving the dsmp would be nothing without the fans. im 99% sure he got the idea of time traveling from clambuoyance’s comic and peoples theories at the time. i feel like karl took a pretty interesting approach to time travel with it being less of a back to the future thing and more of the DBZ androids route. i loved the tragedy of it all, the most careless and unloyal character being put to the test to protect his friends and later on, entire reality. the horror elements were always super needed, dsmp at its core is a horror story to be so it really hit the marks for what i wanted. i will say the memory loss thing gets an “eh” from me because it was never really super fleshed out, karl randomly disappeared for like 4 months from the public and by the time he came back, dsmp had already lost most of its hype w covid restrictions lifting. all that time in between caught c!karl a lot of “badly written” claims till he forgot cQ was his fiance. i also want to point out karl always had c!karl having these tweaker moments or just randomly saying creepy/weird stuff that just works so well for his character in the long run. everybody go watch november 2020 dsmp streams

c!karl will always be such a cool character to me. karl’s aesthetic translated so well into the weirdness tftsmp had, it gave me those “alive in wonderland” episodes animes would randomly have back in the day. i loved how c!karl was still flirting with randoms and making promises he couldn’t keep and ended up dying most of the time because of it, it feels so hopeless and scary. time being treated like a threat is very cool because it’s such an important part of the dsmp meta. as someone who gets memory fog and hallucinations and fucks up majorly every 2-3 weeks, c!karl felt really relatable (at least in hs). every single day i wonder how tftsmp 2 would’ve looked like, how the comic would probably take the dsmp to a whole nother level of storytelling, how c!karls story would unfold and ofc how ksq would end up. it’s honestly so sad seeing how much money karl put into this shit only for it to fall through. you can see how much he loved this idea in all his new projects. he got too ambitious in a server full of people with 0 artistic vision

i think the funniest thing abt cksq is that everyone and i mean Everyone thinks it’s so cute and normal and sweet (it is post el rapids) but for the first like 2 months of their relationship they operated on ren and stimpy levels of insanity and threaten ckarl’s life every 10 minutes
