Finally, some strong evidence that Hat Kid hasn't developed Stockholm Syndrome around The Snatcher without any real parents!

This is Petakronia, The Demigod-ish Guardian of Time and Space! She's the mother of Hat Kid, but rarely goes into physical contact with her, when she returns home she is more than happy to see her daughter after going through an adventure alone.

She's polite and patient at all times, 'less you successfully cross her line via invading her home with ill intention, or going out of your way to harm her daughter.

Hat Kid had always stayed with her when she was a baby and stayed in her home until she grew up old enough to have a spaceship and went on her own, she calls her every now and then to check up on her.
