I adore this eel boy to bits, and I cannot thank NYAV Post and Aniplex of USA enough for having me!
I want to make clear this could not have happened without Brittany Lauda. There is no one who knows TWST like Britt. Ball is life. So when I say she BUILT the Floyd/Kellen train... She supported me pursuing him long before thr opportunity came. She's got the crown there.
And she's been there encouraging me every step of the way. Britt helped me craft my take on Floyd before we knew there was going to even be an audition. She's been there for me through self consciousness. She directed the first dang session.
And I feel so much calmer when Britt is directing me. She knows me WAY too well, and that gets the best stuff out of me. Recording Floyd was SASAKI-level fun, and I accredit that to her. And I'm not the only one. To many of us, Britt is the heart and soul of this project.
Britt, thank you so much for pouring your being into TWST, and sharing that with us. For all the dissertations, the gushing. If we loved it before, we love it even more now because of you. I dedicate every performance I have as Floyd from now on to you. Love you, sis. 💙
I really wanted to do my due diligence for Floyd, because I recognize how special these shoes are to fill. I've read the fan posts, scoured the web, and made sure to do my best to incorporate what you love most about the skrunkly, while honoring Okomoto-san's iconic performance!!
I truly hope what we’ve come up with captures the chaos, and squeezes a smile out of all shrimpies in the Floyd and TWST fandoms! 💙 Can’t wait to see where we get to take him next! Ehehehe~
