Honey Jar originates from Hoodoo and Southern folk Magick. Ā It was a very simple yet effective way to sweeten someone up using a jar and honey. Ā Over times they have changed a bit,now people sometimes use other ingredients (usually herbs) to further specify their intent. Ā
This honey jar I will be showing you how to make is the most simple. Ā This jar is to sweeten someone up towards you else. Ā It is a good ice breaker, I used this type of jar when I started school and wanted to make friends with this one person. You will need:
A small scrap of paper and a pen
The persons name: first and last name
A candle and anointing oil
So, if you are doing this jar for a romantic attraction you will use a pink candle and love drawing oil as well if you have it. Ā If you are doing it for platonic friendship use blue candle and drawing oil. Ā Or you could use a white candle for either of them and just use regular old anointing oil. Ā
Next you want to follow these steps
1.) Write the personās names on the paper. I usually write it 3 or 7 times, odd numbers are the best here. Ā
2.) Turn your paper to the right so their name is vertical, then write your name over theres to make an X. Ā Some people suggest you write your name two more times, but for this it is not necessary as writing it more then the others name would make it so you have dominance over that person, and this jar is a sweetening spell, not a ālove spell.ā Ā
3.) Fold the paper toward your body as you want to attract someone toward yourself.
4.) Get the jar you may cleanse with smoke if you wish before hand. Ā Then fill the jar with honey.
5.) Take the folded paper with your names on it and put it on top of the honey in the jar, then push it to the bottom of the jar. Ā Do not half ass this part you want to get honey on your hands. Ā As you pull your hand out of the honey jar lick the hand with honey to visualize and taste the sweetness you two will now share.
6.) Take your candle anoint it with the oil. Ā Then stick your candle in the jar and light it, the wax will form a seal over the honey that is normal. Ā You want the entire candle to burn down as well. Ā Many people like to visualize and meditate on the two people together while they light the candle. Ā
