alex had been a breath of fresh air in the last several months of her life, someone who made her laugh and just allowed her to be herself without any fear of judgement. he didn't care about her opinions being "too loud" or "too controversial" like they did in the country media world, he didn't give a damn about her past with an ex-husband that lead her to a bitter divorce that she had built a whole album around, and an ex-boyfriend she refused to really talk about. he just encouraged her to have fun, had shown up to her concert despite knowing he didn't really know her music, and still vibed along like he did. those were the kind of people kelsea needed in her life. the people who supported you because they were your friend, with no conditions or expectations behind it.
seeing his chuckle, "what you couldn't picture me like this? you seem to keep forgetting i'm a southern girl, this..." gesturing to her outfit, "is basically how i grew up." and she loved that relaxed feeling, as much as she loved being glammed up. "coming out here, going for a horse ride, it's a good start, but no, that doesn't make a full bribe... sorry i don't make the rules." a grin appearing on her lips, "oh i guess i do." chuckling as she slipped her phone back into her pocket. "guess we'll see after dinner, that's the true test, alex. so you're not safe yet." following after the older man she did a little skip to catch up to him. "wait there's goats and you're not going to introduce me? um, rude, and a point against you towards messaging sav for that." she teased, she really had no plans on messaging the woman she barely knew. it seemed almost cruel to tell a woman, oh hey, would have totally come to your wedding when she barely knew her.
