A couple of colorful elves for Pride Month. I thought they'd make fun stickers maybe?
Similar to my G-Pets video, I've created title screen pixel art for Teleios Saga and included the three music tracks that I've sequenced for the game thus far.
Here's another idea that I've been poking at now and again. I envisioned "Teleios Saga" as a turn-based RPG, a project which I may or may not end up pursuing. At the moment, it's nothing more than a rough concept (and a small handful of artwork and music).
I just finished making this animated mock-up of the Sega Genesis G-Pets title screen. Included in the video are three versions of the title screen music. I've also decided to share the first draft of the high res G-Pets logo, though it doesn't quite match up with the pixel version.
Through 2024 into 2026, I had been slowly building upon a fictional universe in which mankind relies on the continued assistance of living dolls known as "Gear Puppets" (or G-Pets for short). While most of my ideas are in the form of text, a great number of them were made visual. As the name would imply, G-Pets garner most of their abilities from "Dynagears" which, when arranged in tandem, can greatly improve a G-Pet's performance. Different combinations yield different results, so the system very much encourages owners to experiment with a variety of setups. It is my hope that, someday, I might be able to turn this concept into a video game, possibly something in the vein of Mega Man Battle Network. In the meantime, I'll continue to allow these characters to live rent free within the recesses of my mind.
Back in 2022, I had uploaded a few 8-Bit arrangements of tracks from Breath of Fire II. Here are six more that I had whipped up over the last four years. Original music © Yuko Takehara, Capcom Co., Ltd.
I've been trying to get back in the habit of sharing my work here, be it art or music, complete or otherwise. Here are a series of sketches done over the past several months. I had been racking my brain trying to come up with original characters for the purpose of game development, Mateo-R in particular being a transparent attempt at creating my own "Mega Man".
16-bit, MM7-style sprites of two of my original Robot Master creations, Noise Man and Necro Man. Following the Robot Master Design Contest, I've since removed the energy-draining vacuum arm from Necro Man. I've been thinking of giving him a wand or scepter of some sort.
Going through a bit of a dry spell at the moment, but here's a little something I've been messing around with the past few weeks. Mind you, it's likely as finished as it's going to get.
Now that the first round of judging for Capcom's Robot Master Design Contest has concluded, I am now free to share my designs wherever I please. Though none of my submissions made the top 20, I'm still thankful to have been given the opportunity to participate along with artists across the globe. I've included a few additional sketches of ideas that never quite got off the ground—and another silly doodle just for the hell of it.
I've seen a lot of creative designs on the Kirby Air Riders Machine Market, though I'm not sure how my entry holds up amongst the rest. Working within the limit of 20 stickers/decals is quite a challenge, I must say. If you'd like to take the "Wily Shadow Star" for a spin, you can access it with the following ID: MK57KJQR
Get a load of this rock, man! It's far from perfect—a little lopsided—but it's not bad for my first try at Donkey Kong Bananza's DK Artist mode. I look forward to seeing other people's sculptures!
Assorted drawings, pixel art, and animations prepared for Quiz Adventure Mega Man. Many of the rough sketches served as the foundation for most of my pixel pushing, though a lot of these assets ultimately went unused in the final build for one reason or another. Originally, an introductory sequence for Episode 1 was planned to be included, summarizing the events leading up the first Mega Man game.
After adding a bit of polish and tying up some loose ends, the final build of Quiz Adventure Mega Man is now available to play on my itch.io page. Please take note that the project has been canceled and the game is incomplete, so what you see is what you get. Nonetheless, I hope you all enjoy this short—but sweet—trivia challenge.
A canceled GB Studio quiz game starring Capcom's titular mascot.
It would seem that I've become something of a stranger around these parts. I'm still exercising those creative muscles, but haven't found much of my work to be worth sharing.
Recently, though, I had arranged this chiptune version of the track that plays during the first stage of The Magical Quest: Starring Mickey Mouse. It had been inspired by 2bitcrook's recent Game Boy demake project and, subsequently, added to the mix. It's not perfect, but I still think it turned out pretty good.

High resolution art from yesterday's YouTube video. Capcom and Disney certainly aren't strangers to one another. What do you think Mega Man would wish for? Don't forget Genie's rules!
Here's a little something that I've been working on as of late. I hope you all enjoy and have a magical day.
