enough sad soukoku angst. give me SILLY soukoku angst. give me 16 year old dazai dragging tired older brother odasaku on a "very important mission given to him by the boss" and it's just dazai watching chuuya on a date (oooooh) with comically oversized binoculars. the date goes horribly wrong, no dazai medalling required, and dazai feels nothing but successful. odasaku leaves halfway through, knowing he cannot stop this but not wanting to enable dazai.

i love how in this first bit reigen talks to mob like “oh this is a classic experience every boy goes through this etc etc” which makes it seem like he’s genuinely Concerned at serizawa’s comment, BUT THEN A FEW SECONDS LATER HE’S LITERALLY GOOGLING DATING ADVICE

so he was literally just speaking out of his ass earlier and the implication that his shocked reaction to serizawa was more of a “WAIT YOU TOO??? DO NONE OF US HAVE ANY IDEA HOW THIS WORKS?????” is hysterical.

i wanna write a serirei fanfic where somehow reigen managed to land his office a reality show so now there's a bunch of cameramen, make up artists, light and voice directors, etc. in the office and following him around during missions. they make interviews with shigeo and serizawa about how it is to work here... i'm not sure where i want to go with this but it's an idea!!
