suhchase:
“Now that I think about it, I might have to do with a couple of those going missing at the Tri Pi house from time to time. It’s better safe than sorry. I think the world would come to an end quickly if there was a mini Chase running around somewhere,” Chase said with a slight chuckle at the thought of a miniature him. It was truly a terrifying concept for anyone who knew him. “I totally get it. I understand putting a couple pictures on there throughout the night, but the people that have an hour long Snap story of the most mundane things are pretty much the worst in existence.” Chase laughed at her next comment, nodding in agreement. ‘Overcompensation is the right term for that, but I also used to streak a lot my Freshman year because I was obsessed with being the funny baby Kappa that all the upperclassmen liked” he shrugged his shoulders. “I feel bad for them because they had no idea we were incredibly high. I think they thought I was a little bit dumb and felt bad for me. I mean, they aren’t wrong. Next time we smoke a strain with a scary name, we should probably stay out of the public eye.”
"That's what they're there for. And while I imagine mini Chases would be absolutely adorable, and I best be Godmother when you do have them, it is a little early for them to be running around.” It was a thought that terrified a lot of them. She didn’t want to end up like her mother, pregnant in her final year of university, even if it hadn’t held her back any. “You’re telling me. It is so frustrating and the most annoying thing ever. Literally nobody cares that you’re on your second drink, Alan, it should be your tenth.” She laughed, “Well, it worked. You are the funny baby Kappa. But I can’t say it’s because of your streaking.” She nodded, a faint smile warming her features at the memory, “That’d probably the best plan. Stock up before, instead of after. They were awfully good to us despite our incompetence though.”
gabrielkirn:
“Guess he’s not that old.” He added with a tone of finality. He didn’t want to continue talking about someone he didn’t even know. He’d rather talk about her, himself, or this retreat. Something more relevant. “For the most part, yes. He’s autistic, so he can be a little difficult. I haven’t spoken to him since earlier this month, though. Maybe I’ll text him once we get back.” Although, he knew he wouldn’t. “But anyway, take out your supplies, I’ll start rolling.” Gabriel playfully shoved back with a laugh. “Really? What about a steep hill?” He laughed again. “I never get tired.”
“Yeah, he’s really not," she concluded with a smile. "It's hard to remember to contact our families sometimes. But you should, I'm sure he'll appreciate hearing from you." She wished she spoke to her brother more, but they were both so busy with their lives. She grinned when he shoved her back, before rummaging in her bag. Handing him the supplies for their joints, she laughed at his words. "You're really underestimating me. I can manage a steep hill or two. But really? Never? I hardly believe that."
tonylacazette:
“I can never say no to free food. And Alien, maybe. I haven’t seen it.” Tony shrugged. “I just happen to be awake earlier than most of the guys in the house so I see fairly a lot of them. The only confident one that I see walking out is probably the red haired girl from your sorority.”
"I'm surprised anyone can say no to free food, honestly. And with Alien, if you're interested in watching someone getting their face sucked by an octopus looking thing, you're in for a treat." Kenny grinned, that being the best way she could explain the film in that moment. "Yeah? I mean most of us aren't the greatest at being quiet either, so apologies if any of us have woke you. Oh, you mean Lexa? She's confident because she honestly doesn't give a shit what you think about her." She laughed.
mercedescochran:
“You know, I’d trade a dance class for a shoe pileup any day. Count yourself lucky.”
"You're welcome to pretend to be a Tri Pi and join us. I dance daily anyway, so it's not really anything special for me..."
lexa-goldman:
“Trouble. Excitement. Do it for the story, you know? Or else we may as well all be boring Gamma’s, and we certainly can’t have that. But seriously. I think a Parent Trap style prank war is exactly what this retreat needs.”
"Oh definitely. There is no fun in being boring and no point going through life without any fun in it. But yes. How do you propose we start it? Cause this really does need to be a retreat to remember."
zbzvixen:
“I probably sound like a spoiled brat right now but so what,” Imani said with a shrug. “Well I’m always open to trying a tent. Just need a huge one but it’s still a tent. I couldn’t agree with you more. I’m just ready to relax,”
"Trust me, I've met plenty of spoilt brats, you're hardly being one or sounding like one. Firstly, they don't usually admit they're being one," Kenny laughed before nodding, "I'm sure we can go full on camping some time, with tents and the whole shebang. I know, me too. I'm ready to relax all year round."
basil-dumont:
With his Armani sunglasses on, his eyes weren’t visible, but he kept his face angled directly at the Tri Pi. “Alright then, let’s get everyone together and go out on the lake,” Basil stopped fanning himself with his shirt once he heard her recommendation. “There should be some boats around here too for the non-swimmers.”
"Getting everyone together would be hard work and limit our time in the lake. But I'm sure if we send out texts to various people then they'll come down to the lake pretty easily. I know the Tri Pi-s don't take a lot of convincing." Kenny reasoned, smiling. She liked things to minimal effort, especially when the heat made her feel sluggish and overwhelmed. "That'd be good. I'm sure everyone will enjoy it."

tonylacazette:
“Exactly, that would just be unfair if I don’t share some of the pain.” Tony chuckled. “Oh, I haven’t seen him around the cabin, but then again, I tend to get lost in the game when I’m really into it. Why are you waiting for him anyway?” He said, finally shutting his game off after saving it. “Yeah, I guess so. Exactly, I’m not complaining either. I think it’s funny when the girls try to sneak out in the morning.”
“Yeah, it’s fine. He might be out with some girl or getting high. Honestly, I’m waiting cause I’ve got nothing better to do and was going to convince him to buy me some food and watch Alien with me,” Kenny chuckled, “You’re welcome to be his replacement though. Not as bestie, but food and Alien?” She leaned against the wall, “You enjoy our Walk of Shame? I mean- It is pretty funny. No-one is ever as quiet as they’re trying to be or think they are.”

Charlie liked to be taken seriously but he also liked having the option of being the misunderstood goofball. It was safer to vacillate between those two personas than to face the person he was slowly becoming. That weird trudge toward adulthood and responsibility, both to self and to others.
Charlie reached up and brushed a hand through his short hair. “Yeah. But as an athlete, sometimes long hair gets in the way. Unless you’re Roger Federer I guess. Maybe I should let mine grow back out a little. I can get that 90s kid look going again. Thoughts?”
“Yeah, my Rapidash is my best little digital buddy. Fire horses are pretty rare. I’m not gonna make it all exhausted and bitter. I say, give it apples and ride it out all over the countryside. That’s how you treat a bestie.”
“Dragon boat racing is a lot like rowing. It’s- well, the differences are more cultural. And usually it’s not competitive as much as rowing. So that’s a little less fun but I love slicing through the water like a minnow, so no complaints from me,” he shrugged. “Oh, there’s a festive aspect to dragon boat races too, I guess. Do love a good party.”
“Oh yeah. Mostly uptempo stuff, especially for working out. And I kind of have like jumpy feet. I’m not good at sitting still. So I like something with a little bit of rpm. I’m not good on blues either. I like a bit of a melody. I kinda wish they had like Lip Sync Battle for not famous people because it would be fun and also because I can’t sing. Like at all.”
Kenny laughed, “I didn’t mean your literal hair. And honestly, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the 90s look. So long as you don’t get those godforsaken frosted tips.” She shivered at the thought alone, deciding internally that they were the worst fashion idea ever invented. “Oh so dragon boat racing is a cultural thing? That’s actually pretty cool. And I mean- Nobody can say no to a good party. Except maybe the Gamma girls...” She chuckled, smiling as she listened to him speak. She nodded, “Uptempo stuff is really good for working out. It gets you all energised and pumped, so I can definitely see why you like it. Anything with a steady rhythm really too. Oh but Lip Sync Battles would be so cool. You could probably have a mini one as a fundraiser or something-”
tonylacazette:
“Sweet, I’ll hold you to that. And maybe I’ll go out more.” Tony said with a slight conviction. “Mario Kart’s good too, it’s even better when you’re a little drunk - it gets way more competitive.” Tony excitedly said. “Eh, it’s okay, I’m not having the time of my life, but I’m not completely bored either.” He shrugged. “How about you? What are you doing here? I mean that well, girls never usually come over to our house unless - you know…”
“It’ll be good to see you out. Gotta suffer with the rest of us, right?” Kenny continued to tease, chuckling, “Have you ever played the Mario Kart drinking game? Because it makes it a wild game.” She nodded in understanding, “Fair enough. It’s just the start of the summer, I’m sure it’ll pick up a little.” She took a moment to digest his question, momentarily confused, “Oh- I’m waiting for Chase. And we have that same problem. Guys only come over for sex, drugs or parties. Not that I’m entirely complaining.”
tonylacazette:
“It’s not that I’m not a fan of the sunshine, I’m just not a fan of mosquitoes and bees.” Tony said, making eye contact with Kennedy. “Final Fantasy, you play?” He asked, knowing that it might be a hard no. “How’s this retreat going for ya?”
“Ah, bees are harmless. And I can’t remember what, but there’s something that’s a really good bug repellent cause they hate the smell or something. I’ll find out for you and you’ll never have to worry about them again,” Kenny grinned, before shaking her head at his question, “Oh cool. But no. The only video game I play is Mario Kart.” A soft laugh followed. “It’s alright. I’m already bored though. There’s only so much baking you can do before you go insane. What about you? You look like you’re having a ball of a time.”
tonylacazette:
“Bless the person who invented handheld video games. Now I can just stay locked inside this cabin until this retreat is over.” Tony knew he should be out and about but he was about to face Angra Mainyu - the hardest battle in Final Fantasy and he had to be mentally ready for that.
Kenny was in the Kappa cabin in search of Chase to no avail. She had long decided it was best to wait for him there and hope he didn’t bring any girls back from wherever he was. “Not a fan of the beautiful sunshine?” She teased, wandering over, “What you playing?”
