Jacob was waiting on his sisters to join him, since his mother had insisted he'd invited them to the benefit and try spending some quality time with them in order to try and rebuild that kind of bond they used to have as children. Instead of one of the Lee women, a blonde beauty joined him instead, her growing bump reminding Jacob of when Dilan was carrying their child in her womb. "Uh, hello." Still, he smiled, adjusting himself on his seat for a split second, before he stood up. "No, not at all, please." The taller man walked behind the chair she'd asked about and pulled it out for her to seat. He didn't think Maya or the other girls would mind it anyway. "Are you enjoying the festivities so far?" Jacob asked, before returning to his seat. / @kennydavis
Kenny was happy that she wasn't immediately rejected or looked at suspiciously. Word about her going around had made its way to some of the people in town who ran the other way when they saw her coming. Mainly due to the fact that not everyone wanted to support a shelter that wouldn't give them any money in return. "I am." Ken said with a smile, knowing it was impolite to return the question and be sociable but there was a goal in mind and little time given the size of her bump. "Sorry, I should have introduce myself. I'm Kennedy Davis and I own the homeless shelter downtown. You probably haven't heard about it as most people haven't who've never been in need. Of course, I don't know your story so please correct me if I'm wrong." Ken started, knowing this was rougher but she'd eventually get there. "I was hoping to talk to you a little bit about that. It won't take too long."
