Being rly into your own ocs is kind of a curse because its quite literally impossible to find someone who also happens to be into it. Like you could randomly find out one of your friends is also into a show you like but in order for them to be into your ocs you have to actually tell them all about your ocs first and then hope they like it. And then the friend only has you as a source of content and you realise you’ve cursed them too

#i love my few friends who watched me develop my ocs from the very beginning #kenny says things #txt post #ive accidentally gotten a few of my friends to start using tumblr #and these friends didnt have a way of regularly seeing my ocs before this bcs i dont usually spontaniously share my art with them that often #only sometimes stuff i made for school #so theyre just being introduced to this whole world ive built in my head over the last 2 years #that i literally never told them about #and i imagine it might be a bit like culture shock

I rly need to start writing down atleast a little bit of a script before i start sketching a comic bcs seriously i never have any idea where theyre going. "Wow i wonder how this is going to end" yeah me too im doing improv here

#kenny says things #Pythiaglo #in the tags #txt post #hmmm yes very interesting themes gping on here i say looking at a google doc that has never seen the light of day #its very interesting to me how much Aglo and Pythias mirror eachother #The thing is that a lot of the story and worldbuilding is intended to be based on fighting against homophobia #wherein Aglo is a queer person fighting for queer rights and the people he saves are victims of conversion therapy #and Pythias is a victim of conversion therapy who refuses to be saved #both Aglo and Pythias want to be able to live peacefully but they go about it differently #while Aglo wants to fight so everyone can have a peaceful life and fight for everyones autonomy #Pythias is content giving up his own autonomy to live peacefully among humans without having to fight for it #the thing is that both of them are looking for acception and while Aglo was able to find that in his friends and family #Pythias having no family and being separated from Aglo thought he could only find this with humans and only if he pretended to be human #and thats just it #The acceptance Aglo receives is unconditional but the one Pythias gets is built around the condition that he's a human #Aglo and Pythias's roles couldve easily been swapped if Aglo had been the one to get kidnapped. they were both vulnerable teens #But Aglo got the long straw #Which does make it just a bit ironic when you remember Aglo is the one who dies at the end of the story #ok i didnt mean to lore dump in the tags bye

#kenny says things #txt post #the role of the king or queen here is basically purely ceremonial at this point #they have final say on laws technically as they have to sign them #but if they refuse to sign something it makes no difference cuz there are ways to go around it #when a former king refused to sign the abortion law in 1990 they kicked him off the throne for 1 day and had someone else sign it #on the note of the belgian monarchy tho it was our national holiday yesterday #also for reference the legal drinking age for beer and wine in belgium is 16 #stronger alcohols like vodka whiskey and cocktails and such is age 18
