Have you watched alien stage? if so, thoughts?

I have watched it with my sister! She showed it to me when round 6 (cure) was the latest video.

I have 3 alien stage “posters” in my room too! (Ripped them out from a magazine i got for free in japan and taped them to the wall) plus i also made some alien stage pins today! Since i just got a pin maker lol

I really really love alnst, especially how realistic the characters are written and how its not those lovey-dovey shows where everyone has a happy end. I like the small details they add too, i love how everyone has hundreds if thousands of theories lmao, THOUGH i try not to interact with the fandom that much and make up my own theories! Its more fun that way

I couldnt say i have a favorite character, i really REAAAALLY love all of them! I once sat down and thought about who i loved the most but they all kinda tied since all of them have different stories and flaws and personalities, its just hard to choose. I remember sobbing my eyes out at karma lmao, i missed them a lot.

When zombie stage came out i was so suprised since i thought we were gonna have a highschool au…… i really hope zombst is not gonna be the same as alnst tho cuz that would be just boring… super excited for round 2 tho, i love ivantill hehe.

BRO I KNEW YOU WOULD HAVE WATCHED IT you seem like the type who would enjoy it. I also have a hard time picking favourites (which for some reason confuses some people?) but I draw Sua a lot and probably listen to Karma the most.

Also not really interacting with the fandom is so real I don’t either cause the media literacy is worse than my marks lmao.

I think one of the reasons ALNST is so good is because, yeah, its complexity in its themes, commentary, characters and character relationships. Not to mention the art and songs.

I don’t think Zombie stage will be the same as alien stage considering 1) they can’t die, 2) the main perspective focus and characters are Hyuna and Luka, and 3) It seems to be taking much more direct approach, to different themes, to emphasise, and showing us more sides of characters if they were in this other situation. Candy Scar was really good especially in terms of sexualisation of women (and furthermore lesbians) and pedophilloic tendencies ( I have more to say abt this but I don’t want to write a novel either lmao) in relation to the older male crowd.

For Ivan & Till, and if ZOMST is continuing on its themes that we’re in Candy Scar, I have high expectations for some commentary on the fetishisation of mlm with a predominantly young female crowd. Either way I think it’ll be good, Vivinos and their team have proved to be more than capable and I trust any direction they want to go with ZOMST (:

I think fandoms tend to vastly overestimate the relationship between the audience and the creators of the source material. Creators are not obligated to touch their work ever again. All they did was create a work of art. They don't have to do anything beyond that. At any point, they can say "I'm done working on this." You are their audience, not their constituents.
