I am overall so grateful and happy to be tattooing. I feel like I’m always very hard on myself in regards to my art and tattoos. I’m a perfectionist and I think I get caught up on tiny details I think I could’ve done better or differently, and miss the forest for the trees so to say.
Recently I do think I’m starting to make some strides forward in my work. I’m starting to have a better understanding of colour theory and contrast. And I’m getting better at colour packing and blending. I still have a long way to go and I never want to be the type to give up and stop progressing, but at the same time I want to acknowledge I am starting to see some growth achieved.
