Kenochoric Evilpunk Flag

I figured I'd try my hand at making an evilpunk flag for any omen who might wish for a kenochoric version of it :)

The color scheme is based on the original kenochoric flag and then the warmer version that the coiner had made later on.

Kenowerewolf / Werewolfchoric : A kenochord / kenogender / kenoir related to werewolves, one who is Kenochoric and a werewolf, a Kenous / Kenoine werewolf, or any similar experience. Intentionally broad. Not exclusive to any one interpretation or "myth" of werewolves.

This is distinct from the similar Kenowolfgender in that it is specific to Werewolves only / alone, though an individual may use both terms together ( or alongside other similar terms ) if they would like to. It is inclusive of all Alterhuman / Nonhuman experiences, though not exclusive to them !!

Made by combining the Kenochoric flag formats ( original and simplified ) with this Werewolf flag.

I've also made an alternate flag set for those who would prefer a more "moon" focused color-scheme. They were made by combining the same Kenochoric flags with this "Moonlight" Werewolfgender flag.

Here is the plain symbol:

It was made by cutting this Kenochoric symbol in half to resemble multiple Moon phase symbols, along with a wolf paw to symbolize (were)wolves. Putting them together is meant to symbolize transformation. This symbol is optional and was made for fun / to distinguish the simple flags from similar existing designs.

If you'd like to edit the symbol onto the plain flags in a different way than I've displayed them, feel free! SVGur / SVGshare is currently down so if you'd like the SVG file, please DM me for a download link. I'll find a solution and put any updates in the comments / reblogs ASAP.

I love voidpunk but I’m also curious about if there are any guidelines or rules, like what things are allowed and what things aren’t? /genq sorry if you’ve answered this before or answered something similar and I missed it I’m not super pro at finding stuff 😭 also double sorry if it’s an offensive question to ask. I’m genuinely not trying to offend you I’m just trying to learn more and since I’m kind of a baby queer I want to make sure the words I use fit me.

You can check the voidpunk tag on my blog, since I have talked about it before, but I'll go over some quick points:

There is no "requirement" for participating in voidpunk. Anyone who tells you "oh, only such-and-such group can be voidpunk" or anything along those lines is lying. HOWEVER:

The "punk" part of voidpunk is not there for no reason. It is tied to the punk subculture and it's best to have a general understanding of this subculture before participating in voidpunk. Also, voidpunk is specifically a reaction to dehumanization, and it's important to understand that certain people experience this more than others. People of color get dehumanized. Disabled people get dehumanized. People with personality disorders get dehumanized. Trans people get dehumanized. Aspecs get dehumanized. etc. etc. We are here to call attention to and take power away from this, not to be niceys about it. I left the voidpunk subreddit and its associated Discord server because it was full of entitled white cunts who acted like they couldn't possibly be racist because they were autistic or some shit and I was being sooooo mean and disruptive for asking them not to be blatantly racist, and I just want to make it clear that if this had been a real life social group and not an online space, I would have knocked their teeth out. Understand? That said, you don't have to be every oppressed minority ever to participate in voidpunk- you just have to be respectful and willing to listen.

One misconception I see very often is that voidpunk is some sort of personal identity along the lines of otherkin, etc. This is not true. Voidpunk is an aesthetic and philosophy, NOT about genuinely believing yourself to be inhuman. There certainly may be people who identify as both voidpunk and otherkin, or what have you, and that's fine! That's cool! I love those people. But they're not synonymous and should not be treated as such. You don't assume I'm really a vampire because I'm goth, right?

Also, the "void" part of voidpunk doesn't really mean anything. Genuinely, it was chosen because it sounds cool. I think another misconception I see sometimes is that voidpunk specifically is about like, literal voids or shadows or black holes or space or something, which is not true. It's kinda whatever. There are as many flavors of voidpunk as there are blue guys in the X-Men.

Kenochoric Family Terms

I wanted to do this for fun mainly but also cause Im an uncle/aunt now and sparked an idea in me 👀

so to recap, kenochoric-moved coined hex (a young kenochoric person), omen (a kenochoric equivlent to man/woman), chori (a synonym for omen), and kenore (a synonym for omen).

so here are my preposed terms:

a kenochori person you are dating: a hexfriend.

a kenochoric spouse: limabide. it would be the equivelents to husband/wife, its līmen+abide which means to dwell or to remain in a threshold.

a kenochoric sibling: siblimin. sib- coming from sibling and -limin from liminal (and Im pretty sure I saw someone else suggest this but I cant find who unfornately).

a kenochoric parents: chorient (and koko for short). chori- for being a kenochoric person and -ent from parent.

a parent's kenochoric sibling: chorin. chor- from chori and -in from kinship.

a kenochoirc child of your sibling: nepori. nep- is from nepos (which is the same origin as nephew and neice) and -ori from chori.

a parent's kenochoric parent: grandko.

hope you guys like them, this took a lot of time to come up with. I know I plan on using them for myself regardless :)

Kenofluid: When one is kenochoric in some kind of fluid way, and/or when one is fluid between kenochoric genders or alignments.

I wanted to make a nicer looking flag because the current version is a tad overwhelming in my opinion. So I made something a little more fun while also trying to emulate the fluidness of the term within the flag.

A Complaint About Certain "DNI"s . . .

Ok so I hate that while trying to look for things to reblog, I have to look at the DNI throughly. I dont want to accidently reblog something and then someone thinks I share the exact same opinions as the person I am reblogging.

Like Im starting to feel the DNIs are getting out of hand. They were a great idea to begin with and now its like "if you dont 100% agree with everything I think, then pretend I dont exist" which is really stupid in my opinion.

This isnt meant to be a call out post or anything, just sharing my annoyance and curious if anyone feels the same.

Cause Im like "yeah Im against these harmful things" and BAM "thing thats not harmful and usually doesnt effect anybody else". Like c'mon! It so stupid!

Anyways Im tempted to make my own DNI and keep it very simple. Maybe something like "DNI if youre transphobic, homophobic, racist, alt-right, and/or pro banning knowledge" because as long as youre interacting in good faith with my blog, I really do not care. I mean, how will people learn and improve to create a better society if we dont talk or interact with one another?

Maybe I should just ignore DNIs of others' and put that as a disclaimer when reblogging. Cause I am not kidding when I say it gives me massive anxiety of "what if someone thinks I believe all of these same things".

Im starting to think its the voidpunk in me thats fueling this as well, Idk...
