Why do you mean so much to me, when I mean so little to you?
Haha that’s how it’s done! Congrats to the San Antonio Spurs on their Championship Victory over the Miami Heat tonight!

It’s a very special meaning for me, knowing he’s gone, winning a championship on Father’s Day. I’m just happy.

Hey bloggers. As most of you may know, today is Father's Day. You know what that means? It means that most of you get to love your father's even more for this one day, because it is a day dedicated to them.
But, then there's those of you whose 'father' isn't around. He couldn't handle the responsibility of being a dad, so he left. And that isn't your fault, I promise you. He left because he wasn't man enough to deal with his actions.
My mom got pregnant with me at sixteen. My dad was eighteen. I was a Daddy's girl for I can't even remember how long. The following January, my parent's got married. They had two more children, a girl and a boy. They later divorced, and my dad became an alcoholic.
I couldn't stand the fact that my dad's new best friend was a can of beer. I couldn't even stand him, as in I wouldn't visit him. I was in 5th grade, maybe 4th. My sister hated my guts because I would never visit him. But, she didn't understand.
My mom found a new guy later, and they've been dating for 8 years, going on 9. The guy is okay, he's had 3 kids with my mom. Two 5 year-old girls and an almost 6 month old baby girl. Yes, he's a daddy figure to them, but to me? A sixteen year-old? He has no clue, he tries to be more of a friend. Then he gets mad at me when I don't do what he wants.
It's okay if your father isn't around. He's nothing you need to worry about, because when you become successful in your life, and he decides he wants to come around because he's 'ready to be a father', don't listen to it. Because, even though he may be your father, he's not your dad.
Some people don't understand the difference between a father and a dad, so I'll mention it real quick for those of you who don't. A father is just the guy who helped give you life, but a dad is a guy who stuck around. Don't get confused by the two.
Then there's those of you who lost your dad. Maybe he died from cancer, fighting for our freedom, or he was killed. Whatever it was, he was in your life. He stuck around, and it wasn't right that he was just taken away. Honestly, I applaud you kids the most, because you deserve it the most.
So, whether it be you have a dead beat dad, a dad who stuck around, or a dad who is with us here in spirit, you're some amazing kids. Hug your mom more on this day, if that's all you have. Enjoy the little things and realize, that your life is fine, with or without a father.
I'm always here if you need to talk.♥
Well, my second year in the FFA is accomplished, and I survived. My sophomore year was a success, even with my failures.
I started out this year with the most absolute best time of my life, Alumni Camp. I was blessed to meet multiple individuals, one of them being Allison Christian, the 2013-2014 Central District VP. I grew super close with each and every single one of them, I wanted to cry when I had to leave.
Chapter Officer Retreat was a major success. Lawson Thompson came, and we went over the basics for a successful chapter.
Next came AFR Speech Contest, COLT Conference, and my chapter’s first annual dodgeball tournament. The AFR Speech Contest was a learning experience for me. I spoke in front of my peers, and as nerve wracking it was, it was well worth it.
COLT Conference was exciting. When we were split into groups, my fellow officers and I, as well as many more chapter officers, were put with Joshua Haven and Garrett Reed. Even though Garrett broke a ceiling tile, I had more fun then you could imagine.
The dodgeball tourney, was, well, I don’t have to go into that, do I? Good, because I’m not.
I’m not going to go into everything I did, because I did anything and everything my chapter allowed me, so I’ll mention a couple more things, for my sake, and yours.
MFE is the next thing I want to talk about. MFE stands for Made for Excellence. MFE is for 8th, 9th and 10th graders. Me, being a 10th grader, was fortunate enough to attend MFE. And I had a blast. Even though it only lasted 2 days, I made some amazing friends. I never, ever thought that I could make so many friends, and learn so many new things. This year, I will not be attending MFE again, unfortunately. But I will be advancing. I will be attending ALD this year; which stands for Advanced Leadership Development.
I did so many new things this year. I tried out agronomy, showed for the first time, made it to the district speech contest, and much more. I attended state convention again, saw old Alumni Camp friends, and had the pleasure to be sang to by Alex Cash, who even danced for me.
This year has definitely been a success, and I’m beyond ready to lead my junior year as my chapter Vice President.
I've got the fuel and the fire, and darling if you even try to get in my way, all hell's going to break loose.
I wanna see Heaven is for Real.
