“Onyx Odyssey….I think I’ve seen those before. Let’s see if Pepita has those.” He patted Aega’s head again before looking around. “Hey Pepita! You in here?” Lunar looked around the shop. Hopefully, Calisto was here as well.
Lunar lead Riverperson around the wooded area of Snowdin. Since he wanted to keep a low profile, it was best that they stayed near the shadows and not let others see them.
River followed silently. They rarely ventured into Snowdin, especially not the woods, so left Lunar to lead them.
So far, nothing has crossed their paths, ambushed them or seen them. Lunar felt lucky. It was only mid-morning and he’s got his friends with him. However, he still kept his guard up. Anything can happen.
They made it to the wall of the ruins uninterrupted, and River looked to be happy about that. Aega looked around for a way in.
Lunar remembered how he got himself and Aqua inside the Ruins in the first place. Looking to the side, he found the fake-brick on the wall and pressed it to reveal the secret passage. It’s been a while, but he was still curious about something.
When he escaped the Lab, he knew he collapsed in the deep forest. When he woke up, he was inside The Ruins. Who brought him inside there?
Aega clapped. “S-Secret p..pass..sage!” she yipped, waddling into the room. River laughed at her enthusiasm and floated in, looking around.
“I must say, I didn’t know this was here.”
Lunar looked to them with a smile. “When I escaped, someone helped bring me in the Ruins with this.” He explained how he knew it was there. “I still have no idea who it was, but if I ever met them, I’ll thank them for the help.”
River blinked. “Interesting. I wonder who it could’ve been.” they say, gently wandering into the dark corridor.
The grass patch was still there, lit and colourful, though it looked to have been disturbed a little.
Lunar didn’t notice how the patch was disturbed. He thought that it must’ve been done by something little. As they reached the corridor leading to home, he wondered how Aqua will react. He’d laugh if his little brother tackled him.
When they finally made it back Home, Aega twirled into the warmth while Prism flew out and stretched all his limbs.
Hearing the footsteps, Aqua and Luna came to see who it was, and just as predicted, Aqua dove onto the taller, squealing how happy he was that he was back safely, and checking for any injuries. Luna, however, was looking at the one behind him, confused.
Lunar coughed but laughed soonafter before hugging his little brother. “I’m fine, Aqua. I’m fine.” He patted his head before picking him up to bear-hug him. When he saw Luna, she pat her head before making introductions. “Luna, Riverperson. Riverperson, Luna.”
