It had been an incredibly long day. Not only had Leah had one of the earliest flights of the day, but it had also been more than stressful. On top of that, she had also managed to ruin her best white blouse with some tomato soup, which now looked like she had stabbed someone at some point during the day. Sure, she may have only done a few short-haul flights throughout the day, but she was more than just exhausted. She needed her sleep and she really needed the day off tomorrow. Leah got out of the Underground carriage at the right station and made her way to her car, which she had parked not too far away. Usually, she would walk to the station when she needed to get a train or walk from the station home, considering it was only about 20 minutes on foot. This morning, however, it had still been pitch-black outside. On days like that, she took the car, just to be safe. After all, she still didn’t know what happened to Sarah back in the day and she was not gonna take any chances. However, her tired eyes also had a hard time focusing on the road today, which proved to be a problem and made her day even worse. It was almost right in front of Leah’s house that she missed the fact that the car in front of her was slowing down and eventually stopping, which resulted in a loud noise as well as quite some damage when she hit the car in front of her. Fuck.
“No, no, no, no, no...” she mumbled to herself, partly in shock, partly angry for not paying better attention. In all those years of driving, she had never managed to hit another car. But of course, today out of all days that had to happen. “Fuck!” she cursed, immediately turning the engine off and opening the car door. She stepped out of the car and headed towards the one she hit, assessing the damage.

Rhys was still biting away at his sandwich when he was asked to leave the place.
He liked how spacious it was, and even though it was busy, and the food wasn’t so cheap, he really liked their juices.
He was jumping from toe to toe as he was ushered out of the door.
He extended his apologies multiple time, and took place on a bench right in front of the store, still nibbling away at his bread, and also holding his juice in his free hand.
He easily looked like a fool.
He looked up when a random individual passed.
“Oh, if you were thinking about grabbing a coffee, they just closed. But you can have a sip of my juice if you want?”
He was talking at the speed of a race-car.
Today had been one of those days where Reagan had a bunch of things to take care of. She had been in and out of meetings with potential sponsors and people who wanted to buy airtime on Horizon Radio. However, there were always a bunch of things to consider. Of course, money was needed, but she always had to think about whether a company’s values aligned with her own and those of the station and whether working with them would be good for the brand. Her radio station might be well established and very popular, but really, she couldn’t afford a scandal.
Due to a meeting running late, she was now hurrying towards the place she was supposed to meet Emrys at, her two dogs Hendrix and Pandora on a leash next to her. However, it seemed like she was too late, which was confirmed by his words when she spoke. “You’re lucky I’m comfortable around you.” She chuckled as slender fingers reached out for the bottle, her second hand holding the leash a little closer as the dogs excitedly greeted Emrys. “I’m just saying, I hope you don’t go around offering random strangers a sip of your juice” she said, amused at the entire thing.

Daughter to a Chinese mother and an Irish father, who were too young to take care of her and gave her up for adoption
She was adopted when she was still a baby by a couple named Martha and Robert Kelley, who didn’t think they needed to put another child into the world when there were children out there who needed a home
Spent a lot of her Summers and Christmases in London at her grandparents’, which is why the city has always been like a second home to her.
Her parents were always very open when it came to what sexuality Reagan might have and always made sure Reagan knew that whoever she was attracted to was going to be a non-issue as long as the person treated her right. Thankfully, that also meant that her coming out as bisexual to them was a very short and positive conversation. While she was always aware of her attraction to women, her relationships ended up being mostly with men when she was younger until she was in college and met her first serious girlfriend.
After graduation she didn’t really know what she wanted to do for a while. She bounced through a few jobs, working as a waitress, a barista, as well as a DJ for a while.
She ended up moving to her grandparents’ place in London to get ger Bachelor's Degree in Digital Culture at King’s College.
While living with her grandparents, she also started to join her grandmother when she was baking and really started to enjoy it. Over the years she became really good at it
As a hobby, she ended up starting an online radio station called Radio Horizon. At first, she only had a handful of listeners that were mostly her friends from college, but after a while the word got out that she was running a fairly good radio station and slowly gained popularity with it.
With more popularity came the idea of trying to make money out of her radio station. after a bit of research and with the help of her girlfriend, Reagan first started to sell ad-spots on the website, then she sold air time for different companies to play advertisement jingles or short spots on the channel. Eventually her radio station started standing out so much that a couple of her friends started helping her out by creating shows, hosting them and working to make Radio Horizon run full-time. Of course she paid them a share of the income in return.
After graduation she moved out of her grandparents’ place and in with her girlfriend. She decided to try and make the station her main source of income, which is why she ended up moving her entire setup to a small office space in the London borough of Camden. With a loan from the bank, she managed to start it up rather well and ended up employing both of her friends full-time. At first, they started working in shifts, but they quickly noticed that they would need more people to try and make the station work. And so Reagan became the CEO of her own business at the young age of 26.
Reagan and her girlfriend ended up breaking up after a while and Reagan moved into her own flat, which she was lucky enough to be able to afford with the money she was getting from her radio station.
With more success came the need for more staff, and so she moved everything to a larger office space in central London after a few years.
She still writes her own shows and presents them as well, but she now has enough staff to not have to be present at the office every single day and focus on other things that she’s always wanted to do.
Reagan also has two small dogs, one with the name Hendrix and one called Pandora.
WANTED CONNECTIONS:
Reagan’s best friend. Since Reagan doesn’t have any siblings, this would be the closest person to her.
Ex-girlfriend/ex-boyfriend. Could be from way back in the day or could even be the girlfriend she lived with after graduation.
Colleagues/employees. Someone who works for Horizon Radio.
Dog walking buddies. Someone who lives in her area and also has a dog.
character name: Leah Blackwell

Bullet points & wanted connections under the cut.
triggers: disappearance, loss
Leah was born and raised in Brighton, United Kingdom, as the daughter of Alexandra and Jason Blackwell and younger sister of Sarah Blackwell. The family wasn’t super-rich, but they could afford the most important things.
Despite never having been on a plane, Leah has always been fascinated by air travel. When she finally stepped foot on an airplane for a school trip to Germany, she was 13 years old. She immediately knew then that she wanted to become a pilot.
Shortly before Leah’s 14th birthday, her older sister Sarah disappeared. She was reported missing but never found, which is something Leah struggles with to this day. There’s not a single day where Leah doesn’t think about her sister.
Only six months later, Leah’s parents decided to take in a child to foster. His name was Micah and he desperately needed a place to stay. To Leah, this seemed like her parents were trying to replace her sister and she gave Micah quite a hard time. She lashed out, let out her frustrations on the parents as well as on the boy and for a long time couldn’t let go of the deep resentment she held within her.
Over time, Leah warmed up to Micah and realized that her behavior had been everything but great. Her wounds never fully healed but she worked hard to try and win back Micah’s favor. Eventually, it was her who suggested adoption to her parents and also asked Micah whether he wanted to officially be part of the family. Starting from then, their relationship got better.
Leah moved from Brighton to London when she got into flight school and followed her dream of becoming a pilot. The program opened a lot of doors for her and helped her with her independence as it took her to both the US and New Zealand for a year each.
After graduation she got a job with British Airways and slowly started helping her family pay off the debt they had found themselves in after trying to find Sarah. She still doesn’t like to be apart from her family for too long and visits very regularly. She has also become very protective of her adoptive brother.
Of course everything surrounding the disappearance of her sister and the following events also had some unforeseen consequences when it came to the way Leah approached situations and relationships. She started getting scared of getting close to people out of fear of losing them again. And so it happened that she closed herself off more and more, subconsciously trying to protect herself. So far she hasn’t managed to keep a relationship up for longer than a year, but there is a part of her that craves a stable connection.
There are hopes and dreams she barely dares to think of, including dreams of a partner and exploring things she never got the chance to explore, both due to money issues in the past as well as her commitment to her family.
WANTED CONNECTIONS:
Leah’s best friend. Aka a confidant, someone she can always go to, someone Leah would drop everything for. Maybe a childhood friend, but doesn’t have to be.
Family friend. Aka a mutual friend of Micah’s and Leah’s.
Ex-girlfriend. It just didn’t work out, most likely because Leah was pretty closed off. Can be on good or on bad terms.
Housemate. Someone who shares a house with her and has probably become a pretty good friend of hers.

It had been a day. Honestly, she was glad that it was over. Not only had her co-pilot today absolutely gone on her last nerve, but she had also managed to ruin her best work blouse even before takeoff. The looks she had gotten on her way home on the tube had not exactly been great either - most people just weren’t used to someone having a huge red stain on a white piece of clothing. And the look she received at the moment had her raise a single brow before she even commented. “Don’t look at me like that, it’s just tomato soup. I didn’t murder anyone.” Though, admittedly, that would probably be exactly what someone would say if they had murdered someone.
