Here are some Janka x Sunflower (Otwf ver) wips. Idk if I’ll compete them or not so I’m posting this here.

I had watched the new episode of Our Thoughts will Follow and wanted to do a crossover thingy while also trying to do a animation (2nd pic, but not posting full unless I complete it). I’ll write more info and these 4’s interactions when/if I complete this.

I would’ve been done with these, but college is evil and I have finals (never related to Zanka more lol), and I keep on getting new ideas and things to draw for Janka. Sorry if y’all expected something else from me (might be working on something else for a bit instead of this, or just taking a break in general, not that I post much lol).

Also, slight side note, thank Odysseus of Ithaca for reigniting my pjo addiction that I’ve had since 5th grade and thought I got rid of in junior high school (surprisingly not how I got into fan fiction/art). Now I’m questioning who Zanka’s god parent would be (Ik he’d be stuck in the Hermes cabin till Percy forces the gods to pay child support and Jabbers a wildcard, but probably one of the main 12 at least).

If it wasn’t obvious, this tiny fan-comic is based on the Lovely Vessel Au by @zankawonger (its good imo so ya’ll should check it out and if somehow the creator see this and wants me to take it down let me know)!!

The scene is sometime after Jabber died and Lovely was angry and would constantly fight Mankira bc of it. If I had the strength/if it would not take me another week I would’ve added a bit where Mankira suggest then working together to bring their givers back (maybe Zodyl kicked her out bc she can’t transform/be useful to him anymore? Idk).

I took a tiny bit of creative liberties with “Zanka” in general. I figured that Lovely would want to keep as much of Zanka the same so he has his old hair and no piercings. Also, I feel like Lovely would probably not take care of herself as much as Zanka would (wether because of Lovely’s self loathing bc of Zanka’s death or just bc of canon Zanka’s whole codependency thingy).

Tbh this took me so long (thanks “Zanka” and weird hand cramps), I started this on the 11th but just now completed it even though it says I spent 11 hrs. Every time I draw I gain more respect for other artists cause idk how ya’ll do it so fast lol.

Used to the Darkness by Des Rocs is very Mirrors coded imo.

I stumbled upon the song on a random YouTube playlist awhile back, and had to do some Mirrors fanart lol. (If I knew how to animate I’d do the whole song, but I’m not there yet).

This eventually lead me to do the whole layout thingy in a prev. post, though I didn’t use it much here except where to put the lighting and such because I scrapped my original drawing layout(?) I had for this one.

Sorry for not giving Zanka the rest of his facial features, I hate drawing faces the most (the vibes are always off no matter what I do Rip).

Also, I wanted to do a more of my painting art style than my digital so thats why it all looks very different than the rest of my digital art (not that I’ve posted much on this platform).

Even in a Modern/non-Jinki au, Zanka’s still gets poisoned by this man.

Basically I randomly remembered the book/movie Holes and how the Warden had poison nails and instantly thought of Jabber lol.

Sorry if he looks to creepy or whatever; eyebrows are the bane of my existence rip.

Mirrors Fanfic laboratory layout

I just wanted to find out if Zanka was on the right or left of Jabber in the cells bc I see fanart depicting it either way and wanted to be accurate…

it spiraled, I might be going insane. (Added a split image under full incase quality degraded rip)

Still don’t have the answer for that by the way lol.

Extra note: the reason why it isn’t fully mapped out is bc Zanka and Jabbers path out of the Laboratory is mostly vague except for the fact that they went the lab/right side.

Edit: For Sector A, I ment to put left not right, I get them confused sometimes lol.

Based on what I’ve seen here on tumblr, not many people were designing all of their forms so I wanted to give my own take on human Vital Instruments and all their forms. Even though I haven’t drawn in weeks rip. (This took me too long, 25hrs total spent).

Long design rants(?):

For Lovely, her design mostly reflects a Cleaners outfit, but with more blue due to Zanka caring about the Cleaners (especially the Akuta team) a lot. I was originally going to have the rope be around her neck, but decided to have it be over her eyes as a “Zanka’s not at full potential yet” thingy and it looked cooler lol. I don’t know if it’s because I’m sticking to OG Lovely too much or something, but I am surprised there aren’t a lot of designs with more bandages all over her body. While the spikes are on her waist and neck, Lovely still can do her spike attack; only with them coming out of her hands. Im terrible at drawing feet (+ people be weird), but Lovely has Tabi(? The samurai ones) socks on and tends to walk on her tip-toes. I’m not 100% set on her hair design (debating whether it should be tied up in the back to show off the black hair underneath and the tassels or something); I am happy with turning her flame-like spikes(?) into a bow. In homage to Zanka catching Mankira with his teeth, Lovely’s are more pointed loll. If she somehow reminds you a bit of Hyo, it was a total accident promise.

For Mankira, her design isn’t as connected to the Raiders as Lovely’s is to the cleaners because Jabber, at the moment based on previous comments, isn’t interested in the Raiders so much as the idea of fighting strong people. I did keep his tail thingy though, mostly because it’s cute lol. For her base form, I wanted to make her seem a bit harmless(for a lack of a better term) because people usually wouldn’t expect rings to turn into poison death claws loll. I was debating keeping the bracelets on all the forms, but didn’t like how they looked. Idk if it’s obvious, but the rest of her forms are based on japanese professional wrestlers to help hammer in Jabber’s desire to fight (and some of their moves reminded me of how Jabber fights in general). Mankira does have the same shoes as Jabber, I just can’t draw them accurately lol. Like Lovely, Mankira’s hair is similar to Jabber’s; mostly shorter and done up. Something else Ive noticed is that many designs ignore that Mankira’s colors split in both activated forms (its on the blades for the smaller ver),but I’ve might have gone a bit overboard idk. Also, I didn’t fully realize that only one side of the wires was purple which threw me off since there wasn’t any purple elsewhere in Mankira’s design. I’m sorry if the patters are off, it’s very difficult to get clear reference photos of the big claws rip.

Last thing, Mankira is short, 5’5”-ish, and Lovely is at 6’1”-ish when standing feet flat.
