Illustration for an op-ed piece in the NYT about anosognosia. Thanks to AD Nathan Huang!
I’ll be at the BilBolBul comics festival in Bologna Italy, happening this weekend! I was honored to do the poster for this year’s fest, and am excited to be there and take part in their programming. I’ll be talking on three panels, screening an Eyeworks animation program, and doing an exhibit of my comics, drawing, and animation work. More info about the schedule and show is on their site.
The Eyeworks Festival of Experimental Animation starts up its 6th year THIS WEEK, starting on Thursday at Northwestern University’s Block Cinema!!
We posted our preview trailer today, give it a look to get a taste!
Last week I got an illustration of a fat baby into the NYT Sunday Review! Thanks to AD Alexandra Zsigmond.

This week I made an animation to accompany a bird sound composition, for a piece in today’s New York Times Sunday Review. The animation can be viewed halfway down the page here. AD was Aviva Michaelov, and the sound composition was created by Jeff Talman. I loved working on this... Listened to nothing but bird sounds for a day straight!
Illustration I drew for today’s NY Times Sunday Review. The piece takes on issues around state parks and glamping, and you can read it here. Thanks to AD Aviva Michaelov.
