Cringetober day 5: saturated colors

It was between shockwave or pink oppy for this one and I decided on pinktimus prime. If I did shockwave I think I probably would have used a wider variety of colors which may have been more fun but I just think abt this figure so much and I’m surprised I’ve never drawn him before this

Haaiiii !! Rare non art post bcus it was my cat’s birthday today so here’s a bunch of pictures of the birthday boy!!! He turned 5 today!!

Happy 5th birthday to my lovely son Gilbert!!!

This cat is so so so loved by nearly everyone who meets him and honestly idk what I’d do without him in my life. I’ve had him since he was maybe less than a month old, I saw kittens in someone’s front yard on my way home from school and asked to pet them and they just let me take one. Their cat had gotten pregnant and they weren’t able to care for the babies, but unfortunately they *really* wanted to get rid of them bad enough that they lied to us about his age and said he was older than he was, and gave us dry food to feed him when he still needed milk. So he had a rough first week and a very scary emergency vet visit but his food situation was immediately fixed after that (my dad actually thought I was being dramatic when I went to him crying that morning bcus Gilbert wouldn’t wake up, but he took him to the vet anyway turns out I was right and he had to be put in an incubator for a bit). And now he’s still here, my very large and thriving son who is extremely loved and spoiled by all of my roommates and I. I’ve had him since he was tiny enough that I could carry him around in my hood and now people look at him and go “holy shit that is a big cat!” He has come so far and I’m so happy to have him in my life, happy 5th birthday Gilbert❤️!

Cringetober day 3: childhood game/show

I remember in 5th grade I really liked an anime called squid girl. For my birthday that year one of my friends I think drew me a picture of her as a dog but it was clearly just like traced over someone’s feral fursona or something with her colors and defining traits drawn over it😭

Also im pretty sure i came across the show because i had been looking up pictures of squid or octopi or something on the local library computers and a picture of her came up for some reason.
